Good Morning Everyone...

There is a popular trend among local makeup artists...

They tend to draw over models' eyebrows...

For some reason this is appealing to the local market?

Here is an example of how professional makeup should be done!!! Caribbean colors and location..

Things to note: model doesn't look like a drag queen, her skin remains "flawed" or "gifted" perhaps, with freckles. Eyebrows look like eyebrows and not paint.

Is it that living in the Caribbean causes our "models" to have really bad skin thus forcing our makeup artists to cover up more than what is deemed natural?

Or is it that our makeup artists just try too hard and as a result, crossing that line between natural and overdone?

It is a very very very common trend we have noticed here, and we are very curious as to what is the motive behind the drawn eyebrows?
