Good Day All,
This letter serves as a notice in light of the recent Health Crisis caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) around the globe. As the world is grappling with the unknowns our heart goes out to all those affected.
It was confirmed yesterday that Trinidad has had its first confirmed case of the virus. While this is not a time to panic, prevention is always better than cure, which brings us to a place where we need to be hyper-hygienic and increasingly observant of our surroundings.
We at Events Land Limited have already ramped up our cleaning efforts at our office and warehouse.
Our high-touch and high-traffic areas are sanitized repeatedly during the day to protect our clients and our staff during this time.
As a part of our efforts to maintain a healthy environment, we are offering our clients alternative ways to our booking process to minimize the physical contact.
Our Alternative Booking method consists of:
1.) Quotation can be are requested via email, WhatsApp or Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Website) with all important details provided.
2.) Booking confirmations sent via the stream of communication through which it was initiated.
3.) Payment made via bank deposits and wire transfers.
4.) Security deposits returned via bank deposits.
This process gives our clients the comfort of doing business with us from the safety of their homes.
The best thing that we all can engage in is gathering as much information on the virus as possible. Being educated on this issue gives you a sense of control over it. It helps you to understand how it affects the body, enables you to detect symptoms and provides you with preventative measures which can be taken for yourself and your family.
In the trenches of the wedding and planning industry, community lies at the core of our business, we are reminded of how closely we’re bonded in building your event with you, together.
So at this time, with the world watching as global pandemic unfold, it seems only fitting that we call out our love, care, and commitment to you our community, as we stand by side by side to face the uncertainty of the impact of this virus on our collective futures.
There’s no doubt that the next few months will be filled with uncertainty, anxiety and confusion as we learn more about what to expect and the expert-recommended adjustments, we’ll be forced to mitigate the impacts we’ll all inevitably feel. As an event professional, our greatest asset in this time is our trusted relationships with our teams, partners and clients. We encourage you to openly community with us while we remain empathetic to your concerns and work together to explore solutions based on sound judgment, logic and facts.
Here are a few hygienic practices that you can follow:
1.) If you feel, in any way, I’ll stay at home and contact health services. Remember to keep yourself as isolated from others as you can.
2.) If you have to cough or sneeze, please do so in a tissue and discard of it immediately.
3.) If you do not have tissue, sneeze or cough in the crook of your elbow.
4.) Wash your hands thoroughly as much as possible.
5.) Use hand sanitizers that has at least a 60% alcohol content.
6.) Sanitize your surroundings as often as you could e.g. phones, keyboards, mouse, doorknobs, desks etc.
7.) Avoid handshakes, hugs and any other unnecessary social contact.
8.) Wear gloves if you are in constant contact with a large number of persons.
