Mobile phone registration in Turkey UPDATE: In accordance to regulations, an individual could only register 1 phone every 2 years. A problem arouse if the device broke down, eg the device is exchanged due to malfunction. The regulation has been updates to solve this issue. UK’s Prosperity Fund is supporting the “Promotion of Business Ethics and Transparency of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Turkey” project, which is conducted by Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV). The project aims to increase the ease of doing business in Turkey, levelling the playing field for all foreign businesses, including from the UK, through awareness-raising and capacity building in the representative sectoral organisations for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Turkey. A study visit was conducted in London between 11-16 December 2016 in order for Turkish Business Executives to improve ethical work and learn how UK companies, industries, governments and civil society manage ethical challenges.

Birleşik Krallık Refah Fonu; Türkiye Ekonomi Politikaları Araştırma Vakfı (TEPAV) tarafından uygulanan “Türkiye’de Küçük ve Orta Ölçekli Şirketlerde Meslek Etiğinin ve Şeffaflığın Yaygınlaştırılması” projesini destekliyor. Bu proje, küçük ve orta ölçekli şirketlerdeki sektör temsilcilerinin farkındalığını arttırma ve kapasitelerini geliştirme yoluyla Türkiye’de iş yapabilmeyi kolaylaştırmayı, Birleşik Krallık’ı da içeren yabancı yatırımcılar için saha olanaklarını eşit kılmayı amaçlıyor. Bu bağlamda, Türk Yöneticilerinin meslek etiğini iyileştirmek ve Birleşik Krallık şirketleri, hükümeti ve sivil toplumunun etik meseleleri nasıl çözdüğünü öğrenme amacıyla 11-16 Aralık tarihleri arasında Londra’da bir çalışma ziyareti düzenlendi.
