MODEL OF MODELS TURKEY 2025 HAS BEEN HELD.
The 37th Turkish Final of the Model of Models competition, part of the RCA Global Royal Competitions chain, was held on November 19, 2025, at the SOPHIA Stage in Çengelköy, Istanbul.
Hosted by Gökay Kalaycıoğlu, Melisa Şahin, and İlknur Özkuş, the competition began with the ringing of the opening gong. Başak Akdeniz, in the female model category, and Caner Meral, in the male model category, were selected by the selection committee to hold the title of MODEL OF MODELS TURKEY 2025 for one year.
Başak Akdeniz's collar was tied by Rasim Aydın, and Melisa Şahin wore her crown. Caner Meral's collar was worn by Deniz Shaman. The performance directors of the competition were Oksana Kuznetsova and Choreographer Bekir Ayar Subaşı.
The competition was directed by Osman Akar, project management was undertaken by Tülay Türken, and marketing of promotional opportunities was handled by İlknur Özkuş and Haydar Koçak.
Twenty female and 22 male models participated in the competition, which was sponsored by Aras Yalçın and sponsored by Dore Creative and Yeşim Arayıcı for the Red Carpet.
The Gölge Rayan-Ata Göçer duo, Dora-Ahmet Altınbaşak duo, and Birtan Gizem Dadal and Sinan Tanyeli, who won the title of first runner-up in the 2022 edition of the competition, each performed a live concert featuring one song.
Lebanese artist Rita Mahrani performed four songs during the models' podium presentations at the presentation of Sevtuğ Kasapbaşoğlu and Sevda Afandi's collections. The crowning ceremony was broadcast nationally by the World Türk Channel. It was also simultaneously broadcast on social media networks and modelofmodels.com.tr.
The competition's selection committee was a veritable parade of celebrities. The committee included many prominent figures from the arts, cinema, media, industrial production, and commerce.
The selection committee chair was Rasim Aydın, winner of the International Model of Models competition. The selection committee secretary was Ecem April Onutman, a former holder of the Model of Models International title and crown. The selection committee commissioner was attorney Talat Arman.
Businesspeople: Yeşim Arayıcı, Sümeyye Selamet, Faruk Özdemir, Serkan Çılgın, Haluk Akbaba, Burak Darama, Emre Kandemir, Özlem Safiye Kurt, Şeriban Yıldız, Aynur Erler, and Gültekin Kaya.

The selection committee included the owners and editors of several national news outlets, including audio and print publications. Among these individuals were Adem Erdağı, Ertan Taşkıran, Hakan Solaker, Kemal Cenk İçten, and Levent Çekiç.
Film actors: Burçin Bildik, Cem Kılıç, Deniz Oral, Emel Beceri, Onur Yazan, Özlem Uçar, and Rüzgar Cihan Bulut. Fashion designers and brand owners: Aydan Karaman, Azade Pourokbar, Selda Palancı, and Sevda Afandi. The selection committee also included a member from London: Nilüfer Erbil, aka Lili Jones, a Transformational Breath Facilitator.
The costumes for hosts Gökay Kalaycıoğlu, Melisa Şahin, and İlknur Özkuş were designed by Aydan Kahraman, one of our hot-cut designers. Zaralım Ayakkabı provided the shoes.
The female models walked first in the show area. The models, who wore Sevda Afandi's wedding dresses, received considerable applause. Male models presented the collections by La Boum and Şinasi Günaydın.
The female models made a splash on the runway in the alluring, custom-made dresses of hot-cut fashion designer Selda Palancı.
The selection committee members evaluated the prospective models based on their physical stature, ability to present unique designs, and their distinctive charm. After the voting was completed, the tables were collected by the Chairman of the Committee, Rasim Aydın, and submitted to the Jury Commissioner, Attorney Talat Arman, for evaluation. Under Mr. Arman's supervision, Oksana Kuznetsova and Şahin Kaptan tallied the scores and established the rankings. The results were then submitted to the Chairman of the Selection Committee, Attorney Talat Arman. Talat Arman, in turn, presented the results to Rasim Aydın, the Chairman of the Selection Committee. Rasim Aydın then handed the list over to host Gökay Kalaycıoğlu, who was present on stage for the public reading of the results and the crowning ceremony.
The rankings, based on the committee's votes, were as follows: In the male model class, Caner Meral was awarded the title of "37th Model of Models Turkey."
In the female model class, Başak Akdeniz was awarded the title of "37th Model of Models Turkey."

The hair and makeup of the contestants were designed by the Altier Academy Hair Design and Makeup team, while the hair and makeup of the artists and presenters were designed by Şeriban Yıldız and her team.
The video shoot for the contest was conducted by Onur Yazan and his team at Somi Medya, while the photography team at Istanbul Sonkadraj, directed by Tahir Nişancı, handled the shoot.
In addition to Dore Creative Awards, the contest also received support from Hadi Event Hall, Hane Vadi Restaurant, Simitci Mecidiyeköy, Detoksia, Darama Host, Destek Office, Eda Avşar Beauty and Kara Medya, Riverm Worm Fertilizer, and Organik Gübreci AVM.
Model of Models was created in Hollywood in 1967 by Li Sun. In 1988, businessman Süha Özgermi began producing the Turkish stage under a franchise license. The first competition in Turkey was held at the Bodrum Halikarnas discotheque.
The competition's purpose at the time was to introduce Bodrum, which was still being opened to tourism, to European society. The competition was produced in Turkey by franchise for 16 years. In 2004, businessman Rasim Aydın purchased shares of the Hollywood-based RCA Global Royal Competitions company.
Thus, the competition became a global Turkish brand. After taking over the competition chain, Aydın authorized Deniz Shaman Production Company to produce the Model of Models International and Model of Models Turkey competitions.
Those who won the title of "Turkish Model of Models" by participating in the 37th National Model of Models competition will, as in the past, represent Turkey in international competitions and on world podiums. Haber Zerrin Erdoğan
