Melanie and Vaughan had a lovely wedding at Barceló Coconut Island yesterday, with guests from East and West; Wales, England, Australia and New Zealand. We were blessed with perfect weather.
Several guests gave glowing reports of the location and the staff. Kudos to Barceló ! And huge congrats to the happy couple 💞 💞.

British wife Mellissa hatched a surprise vow renewal for her husband Martin at Barceló Coconut Island yesterday, with their two children and one niece, in part due to younger daughter Lilly being sorry she'd not seen her parents get married initially. What a grand gesture ! Congrats to the lovely family 💞 💞.

Geordie couples Carly & Phil and Kirsten & Andrew enjoyed a double vow-renewal ceremony at Friendship Beach Resort yesterday, with their lovely young children. Not only are the 'brides' related, but it also happened to be Kirsten and Andrew's 10th wedding anniversary. It was indeed a special day, unspoilt by an unseasonal blast of wind and rain immediately the ceremony finished.
Huge thanks to Khun Nack and his team for the lovely setup, and to Rod Plusbug for the photos (although these are courtesy of my wife Toon).

Anantara Villas at Layan beach was the magnificent setting for Chinese couple Ran and Josh to tie their knot yesterday. The elements behaved perfectly, with some cloud cover for the mid-afternoon ceremony giving way to a clear sky at sunset. Huge congrats to the delightful couple, and to Image of Love's Wedding - Phuket for the superb decorations. 💞 💞.

Postponing the commitment ceremony of Australian couple Justine and Craig, with their young son Beau, due to appalling weather a week ago, was a judicious move. The sun shone a couple of days ago, for a relaxed and meaningful ceremony at Friendship Beach Resort. We had the beach to ourselves, and young Beau's interest was split between the ceremony, the sand and the crabs. A good time was had by all ! Many congrats to the lovely family 💞💞.
