th trepidation, having caught glimpses, through the ruckus of flailing limbs, fog and strobe, of something behind the decks that seemed not quite human. In Thailand, too, there have been rumblings. Junglists have been found wandering the streets at dawn in a cold sweat, eyes glazed, muttering warnings of a savage beast unleashed on the dancefloor. Some say that these are just the unhinged ravings of unhinged ravers, but older, wiser heads are beginning to suspect that somewhere in Bangkok’s underground, there lurks some kind of DJ Animal.
