Fortune Faverz started DJ life as a student in early-90’s London. Progressing from house parties to the club scene in 1996, his first break was at Leicester Square’s infamous Gass Club. And in a ’97 collaboration with 2 other DJs, launched House Music events in the gritty, musically-vibrant petri dish of Brixton. d a fresh project with 4 other DJs to launch one of the most dynamic underground outfits in Thailand, House Jam. Fortune Faverz was recently appointed Event Manager for Zulu Records. Besides his 25 years of DJ experience, and a co-release signed by Roger Sanchez’s UNDR THE RADR label, he brings a wealth of event production experience and is now the guiding force behind the latest ground-breaking label parties by Zulu Records. Having organised parties in virtually every underground music venue in Bangkok, and co-producing the annual Samed Songkran Festival, Fortune Faverz stands out with the handful of selectors who consistently work both sides of the DJ booth. Musically his style straddles the funk-driven end of the House genre, peppered with tribal rhythms, often influenced by disruptive labels like Defected, Toolroom and Glasgow Underground on a kink-littered route to more progressive, uplifting sounds. His industry efforts have seen him working with the likes of Riva Starr, Prok & Fitch, Tube & Berger, David Penn, and of course MDE. What follows next will be sensational.

Huge honour to be organising my first event for Zulu Records' debut at Thailand's biggest underground music festival this year, Mystic Valley Festival Thailand 2020 🔥
We'll be taking over the Afterparty Stage for the final all-nighter of the festival, and I'm excited to be playing a dawn set alongside some superb local and international talents!
