There is no perfect wedding menu. There is a perfect menu for your wedding.
When we start planning a wedding menu, one of the first things we want to understand is: who are we cooking for?
Where are the couple and their guests coming from?
How many guests will there be?
Are there children?
What kind of food do the bride and groom actually enjoy?
All of this matters.
Then comes the format of the wedding itself.
A relaxed dinner for 25 guests at a private villa is very different from a 70-person wedding with cocktails, music, dancing and guests moving around throughout the evening.
The venue matters too. Every villa and event space on Koh Samui has different possibilities and limitations — especially when it comes to the kitchen, equipment and service.
All of these details influence what we eventually put on the menu: the number of courses, the balance between seafood and meat, canapés, sharing dishes or individually plated courses, portion sizes and how the food will be served.
We don’t believe in one “best wedding menu”.
The right menu is the one that works for this couple, these guests and this particular wedding.
And that’s where we start. 🧑🏽🍳 🫶🏽 Planning a wedding on Koh Samui? Tell us about your guests and the kind of evening you’re planning — we’ll help you build the menu around it.
