A Birthday Celebration Rooted in Family, Gratitude and Unity

Some celebrations are about more than just marking another year. They are about the people who have walked the journey with you.

On his special day, one of Eclipse's visionary Founders, Mr. Zwane, chose to celebrate with the first-line managers across the company — the people he considers his second family.

Managers from our various sites came together to celebrate, share laughter and create beautiful memories, joined by his partner in leadership, Mr. Maphosa.

The evening was filled with heartfelt reflections, laughter and meaningful conversations as the Owners shared the Eclipse journey — how it began, the challenges they have conquered, the milestones achieved and the vision that continues to drive us forward.

There were special birthday wishes, familiar favourite lines that had everyone laughing, and heartfelt speeches that reminded us of the unity, trust and shared purpose that have shaped the Eclipse family.

Mr. Maphosa spoke about the journey they have shared, while Mr. Zwane opened his heart to the people who have walked alongside him, expressing his appreciation for the dedication, understanding and commitment shown by the Eclipse family.

And, in true Eclipse fashion, the evening ended with a toast — “To be, to be!” — and to many more years of growth, unity, success and shared memories.

It was more than a birthday celebration. It was an evening of love, gratitude, laughter and togetherness — a reminder that behind every organisation is a family of people who make the journey worthwhile.
