TIMELINE:
2014 - Spencah forms Bass Fighters crew, which starts gaining national recognition with monthly events and DJ bookings in Slovenia.
2015 - Bass Fighters switch their residency to Gustaf Pekarna.
2016 - They begin to invite more international guests, and start DJing abroad as well. In November they make their first headliner booking, as they start a new event series called "Akcija".
2017
– Akcija features many smaller international headliners and Spencah starts working as the program manager of K4DNB event series in Klub K4, Ljubljana.
2018 – A new club residency comes to light at Jazz Klub Satchmo in Maribor, where they start doing "Difrakcija" event series monthly.
2019 – Headliner bookings are getting bigger and another club residency appears at Štuk in Maribor, the biggest venue so far. They take the year to create a new brand in a new location: Eksperiment bar, where many smaller events and livestreams take place, to keep the scene alive even in the harshest conditions. The biggest Slovenian DnB artist Smooth joins their ranks. Together with City of Maribor (MOM) they do workshops on music production, DJ-ing and event organization.
2021, 2022 - For the first time “Bass Fighters Festival” takes place in Pruh, an abandoned quarry in the forest. Over the next 2 years they organise many open air events there.
2023 - Bass Fighters crew shifts their focus back to club nights, hosting bigger names than ever before, and DJing all over Europe.
