When sectors speak the same language, energy becomes smarter.

As Yann Fromont (T&D Europe) said: “Europe faces too many situations where we have to stop wind or solar generation because the grid cannot absorb the excess. The result? We all pay for what we never use.”

The answer? Sector coupling – connecting generation, distribution, and consumption into one intelligent system.

The Helsinki Hot Heart project, presented by Miha Bobič (Danfoss) during the pre event webinar, shows what’s possible: surplus wind and solar power stored as heat in the sea — cutting heating costs by 10%.

Brdo pri Kranju je 2. oktobra ponovno postalo stičišče idej, znanja in vizij – več kot 150 strokovnjakov, podjetnikov in inovatorjev se je zbralo na 17. Inovaciji energetike ’25.
