The Regatta Is Over. The Memories Are Still Fresh. 💙🚣‍♂️

It’s been more than a week since the 2026 World Rowing Masters Regatta in Bled came to an end, but the memories still feel as fresh as ever. 💙

Nearly 5,000 rowers from 52 countries and 6 continents came together on Lake Bled for a record-breaking WRMR 2026. 🌍🚣‍♀️

Five unforgettable days of racing, friendship, emotions and incredible Masters spirit.

A huge THANK YOU to all rowers, supporters, volunteers, officials, World Rowing, partners, sponsors and everyone behind the scenes who made it possible. 🙌

And thank you, Bled and Slovenia, for welcoming the rowing world. 🇸🇮💚

Yesterday evening, the tent at the Olympic Rowing Centre Bled was filled with celebration as we honoured our octogenarian rowers – incredible athletes aged 80 and over. 🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️👏

The evening also marked a special moment as we officially handed over the World Rowing Masters Regatta flag to the hosts of the next edition, which will take place in Varese, Italy, in 2027. 🇸🇮🤝🇮🇹

And of course, no closing celebration would be complete without great music, dancing and plenty of good vibes! 🎶💃🕺
