Over three days, the MTX exhibition and conference welcomed over 21,000 participants from 89 countries, driving conversations about the future of public safety and showing how important collaboration is in tackling the challenges of tomorrow.

The international public safety community came together at the MTX (Milipol TechX Summit) 2026 conference to discuss how AI, robotics and autonomous systems are rapidly reshaping public safety, and how governance matters as much as capability.

Participants also agreed that the future of public safety will depend on innovations, strong partnerships, and the astute balancing of speed, risk, and trust.

The first 2 days of MTX (Milipol TechX Summit) 2026 saw huge crowds, with the halls filled with steady streams of visitors exploring innovative public safety technologies.

We were honoured yesterday to host Ms Jasmin Lau, Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Education, and Mr Desmond Choo, Minister of State, Ministry of Defence, as they toured the exhibition to learn about how the international public safety community has converged here to innovate together.

MTX was launched by Mr K Shanmugam, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs; H.E. Jean-Didier Berger, France’s Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Interior; Mr Préfet Yann Jounot, CEO of Civipol and President of the Milipol Network; Mr Pang Kin Keong, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs; and Mr Chan Tsan, Chief Executive, HTX and Deputy Secretary (Development), Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday.

It was an eventful first day, with some 270 exhibitors gathered under one roof, ready and excited to welcome over 20,000 attendees from 28-30 April.

Distinguished guests including Ms Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Ministry of Home Affairs, Assoc Prof Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Mr Goh Pei Ming, Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of Social and Family Development, also toured the exhibition floor and interacted with the exhibitors.
