[MENTAL HEALTH]

I am really fortunate to be able to pursue my passion at both and . But it is not without cost. Truth is, I am my worst critic and there are days where my inner critics get the best of me. My busy schedule can sometimes leave me with little room to internalise my emotions only to revisit them when they get a little out of hand.

Over the years, I have learnt to prioritise my mental well-being by meditating, taking up float therapy or simply, going for long walks or runs.

In Asia where the stigma of mental health is sometimes frowned upon, it is up to us to create an awareness around it. Singaporeans generally go through high amounts of stress with increasing cost of living, highly competitive work environment and ageing population.

I got to know about , having followed on Linkedin and they are definitely doing something good in this space. Took an hour boat ride to Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan and it was all worth the time.

Also known as The Temple of Dawn, the temple is one of Bangkok's most iconic structures.

On close up, the temple is decorated with tiny pieces of colored glass and Chinese porcelain placed delicately into intricate patterns. Definitely the highlight of this holiday, and the sight of it filled me with awe.

Turned a year older this month.

If there is anything that the past years have taught me, it is to be bold.

In the years ahead, I hope to be bolder.

I hope to be bolder in pursuing the things I love and to do so regardless.

I hope to be bolder in giving love even if I don't necessarily receive it back.

I hope to be bolder in finding meaning in the little things in life, because life is about small steps and little routines.

I hope to be bolder to be myself, despite what others think.

Just some random late night thoughts which would have been a good companion for a good glass of Whiskey on the rocks.
