In this episode, we speak to the Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Premier League club, Balestier Khalsa and a Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Council Member, Don Darwin

In the first part, he shares his memories of his time as a Manchester United and German national team fan in the 1990s and 2000s. He expanded on the change the German national team took from the 90s to the 00s as well.

In the second part, he spoke about the current predicament and situation at Manchester United and spoke at length about his plans and current implementations at Balestier Khalsa and clarified his role at Balestier and as a FAS Council Member. He also shared what his thoughts are on Singapore football and how he sees it improving in a personal capacity.

BROTHERS IN ARMS.

Tasked with a mission to fight for top honours this season, brothers, Brian Ravi & Nantha Kumar have an uphill battle ahead of them. They are no strangers to local Football scene, formerly plying their trade in S-League with Balestier Khalsa & Gombak United respectively.

After understanding the philosophy & motto of PVOSC, Brian decided to be a volunteer as Head Coach and join his brother, Nantha who has been with the club since 2012. A teacher by profession, he maintains a high level of discipline within our team while relentlessly educating Golden Eagles on necessary skills & fitness required to be the very best.

Nantha, on the other end has had a fruitful journey in National Football League, coaching Eunos Crescent FC to the Division 1 title in 2016 & again winning IWL in 2018 with us. Having played Futsal for 🇸🇬, his habit of high tempo and quick passing ⚽️ is key attribute for the Golden Eagles this season.

We look forward to a greater season ahead under their leadership and truly thank them for volunteering their time & effort in our pursuit for glory. It’s time for us to live our dreams!
