On November 30th, the legendary DJ KRUSH 🇯🇵 will add his name to the list of acclaimed artists who have graced the decks at Intermission bar at The Projector. This marks the revered Japanese producer and turntablist's return in over a decade since his March 2014 performance at Gem bar on Ann Siang hill.
Born in Tokyo, the gifted producer and turntablist, Ishi Hideaki aka DJ Krush, is revered for his live mixing and sound composition. In a career spanning over four decades, he has performed in front of over 5 million audiences across 313 cities in 50 countries and has garnered an undeniable respect from both his peers and fans 🌏
Today, he continues to transcend all barriers and paves the way for future beatmakers through his craft. Along with collaborators Tropika and The Projector, we are proud to host the grandmaster himself and promise an intimate night of ethereal trip hop, experimental hip hop and distinguished soundscapes.
Opening the momentous evening are a stronghold of special guests on the lineup. Trust Ramesh K (co-founder of Tropika), hip hop heavyweight Drem, Revision Music head honcho Nez and Syndicate co-founder Kiat to lubricate your aural senses. Just as DJ KRUSH is regarded as the godfather of abstract and avant garde hip hop, these local veterans are OGs of the music scene. Be prepared for quality breaks, heavy basslines, leftfield influences and everything discerning and in between.
A true master of the art of DJing, his unique style and mastery of sound have influenced countless of artists and we're excited for both longtime heads and new fans to experience DJ KRUSH live in Singapore once again.
