From “will you?” to “I do” — we had the honour of being Wee Kiat & Denise’s florist through both. 🤍

It began on 9th August 2024, with a night proposal at Upper Seletar Reservoir, the quiet spot by the water that was already theirs. Soft pastels, a warm golden glow, and a bouquet chosen just for Denise.

When it came to the wedding, they came straight back to us. Having styled that first moment, we already knew their taste — so translating their vision into the day they’d imagined felt like second nature.

And the most effortless days are often the most considered. Years of these moments have taught us what to plan for, so every little detail is quietly handled — leaving the couple to simply be in it, rather than worry about the rest.

We showed Delia a venue and asked: How tall should your wedding backdrop be?

With a high ceiling, it’s not simply: “The ceiling is high, so let’s make the flowers taller.”

It’s building florals tall enough to fill the vertical space, making sure they don’t get swallowed by the room while ensure flowers are not competing with the people they’re meant to frame.

That balance comes from looking at the whole room — the ceiling height, the proportions of the space, the couple, and where your guests will actually be. It‘s the kind of detail you only catch with experience. 🌿

•A short write up: What inspired our Vday Designs this year•
With a hectic wedding season ongoing in the last few months, I found myself stuck in a creative slump. During my recent trip to Taiwan. I took time off to recharge and reconnected with nature. As I was hiking in Alishan, I experienced the healing power of nature and I thought how nice it would be if I could share the goodness of nature with you guys through my flower arrangements. Hence, the colors of the flowers in my Vday exclusive designs this year represent the different emotions I had felt during my hike and I hope that my flower recipients could also enjoy the gentleness of nature through our vday bouquets.
