Why we shouldnt use some of the imported idols:
1. Though imported idols made in India has been mentioned as clay, it’s not pure clay and it’s hollow idol. This causes unsuccessful prayers and blessings. 2. Especially idols above 10inches needs different kindvof packing and if the idol is heavy possiblity if breaking is there. Hence impure items are mixed in powder used as clay. These are Biodegradable but not Eco-Friendly.
3. Another reason is most of the idols are like kavach. Inside empty. Hollow idol worship is not auspicious in hinduism. In all templs such kavach is used as armour for Deities. Our body is made of Bones, muscles ams systems. It’s not empty inside. Similary to the god idol we pray too.
4. another reason not to buy imported idols is to save Singapore from spoiling the marine life. the impure idols when dissolved in mid of the sea harms aquatic animals. water bodies floats with broken ganesha idols affects the purity of water.
