A community project begins with one simple question: what do people need most?
As part of HDFX’s CSR efforts, we supported a water treatment project valued at more than USD 10,000 for Thongwa Methodist Church and the surrounding community in Myanmar.
This initiative was never only about donating equipment.
It was about listening to the community, understanding what was needed, and working with the right people to put a practical solution in place.
From site assessment and water testing to installation, solar power support, pump restoration, training and follow-up visits, every stage was carried out with long-term use in mind.
The goal was simple:
To help the church and community move closer to cleaner, more reliable water access.
This project was led by HDFX under the care and support of its owner, Miki Hay, together with Myanmar Kitchen, Thongwa Methodist Church, the technical team and everyone involved in bringing the system to life.
Thongwa Methodist Church later shared its appreciation for the site visits, corrective work, training, power stabiliser installation and continued guidance provided throughout the project.
Their words reminded us why this work matters:
“Your continued guidance and commitment have given us confidence that this water project will be a blessing to our community.”
For HDFX, CSR is not only about giving.
It is about sharing responsibility, caring for people, and supporting solutions that can continue beyond a single day.
Because meaningful impact is created when care is followed by action.
