Godzilla may not be your picture perfect example of a protagonist yet since its creation in 1954, he had always been fighting on the side of Earth - to maintain her survival and restore balance. The creators gave Godzilla a sense of purpose through the key themes of the franchise.

Have you seen people who live like this around you - they seem to dance to their own rhythm, staying true to their purpose, yet inspiring those around them? That is the beauty of authenticity.

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift, that is why it is called the present." A certain wise turtle.

Maybe sometimes we just need to learn to not spend our whole day mulling over what we did in the past or worrying over what will happen in the future because it distracts us from living in the present.

And when we know that today is never going to come back again, do you really want to spend it like this?

Is there something you can do today to really experience the present - watch the clouds float by, smile at a stranger, do your best in one task, fully savour your food, or get lost in your favourite story, game or hobby.

I know some of you may be feeling affected by the decisions made by Infold regarding Love and Deepspace. Not here to say who is right or wrong, but to encourage us. Rather than get embroiled in all the toxicity online, perhaps quietly ask yourself if the game and characters are still worthwhile investments of your time and money and therein you have your answer. Ignore the rest of the noise.

When was the last time you were grateful for something in your life? If it has been more than 24 hours, it is time to appreciate!

Perhaps a moment you thought nothing of but actually made you smile. Like catching the bus or MRT. It could be the people in your life who support you. It could be a small area of growth - finally nailing that note in the song you've been practising. Or simply having access to basic necessities which we take for granted.

Why? Because when our minds are focused on these things instead of complaining, comparing or thinking we deserve more, it reduces the cortisol in our brain and boy do we that!

We completed our first round of the ikigai workshops in early May and I am so grateful for the people who took time to journey with me on my pilot. I will be starting another round once I get another 2-3 participants. If you are interested please DM me!

Do you feel like you need to achieve 100% in all areas of your life?

When it comes to eating for a healthy life, practise eating until you are almost full (about 80%) instead of stuffing yourself.

This same principle can apply in other areas of our lives too.

For example, leaving breathing room in your budget for spontaneous meaningful spending; or space in your calendar for serendipitous encounters; or decluttering commitments so you have the bandwidth to ideate.

Less is indeed more. Sometimes, through simplicity, we find clarity.

It's been slightly more than a year since we moved to our new home at Lavender. Since then we had the chance to support various groups organise their own fan events for Plave, Twisted Wonderland, Baldurs Gate 3, and Arknights! We also held two Love and Deepspace events - a Christmas gathering with the LADS and to celebrate Sylus' Birthday with a bang.

I've also had the chance to witness so many people celebrate their birthdays, gather with loved ones, and conduct their own workshops. And we even recorded our own podcast discussing all things geeky.

The power of an uplifting community is real, and we need it even more than before so that we don't get lost in our digital world. So, for 2026, we plan to hold more regular low-key gatherings on Saturdays for those looking for a safe place to chill and geek out regardless of which fandom you support. Stay tuned!

Thank you for bringing this experience to the community ! Who would have thought that a journey that began 1.5 years ago would have created so many beautiful memories in . I was so happy to meet quite a few familiar faces in , ladies whom I had the chance to swoon together with over our husbandos. I don't usually post photos of myself on IG but I think this is deserving to be part of .

Dear hunters, thank you so much for helping Sylus (together with Luke and Kieran) prepare for his birthday soiree. Sylus wouldn't have been able to execute his plan if not for your support.

Congratulations to the following teams who made it to the top! You really wowed us with your efficiency and focus. Though we only have prizes for the top, we hope that ranking high brings you some pride too!

To everyone, we hoped that you have been sufficiently tested and found yourself worthy to take your place at his side. No matter how challenging the puzzles were, we applaud your never say die attitude, your enthusiasm in singing with Mephi, and also showing off your sharp shooting skills. I'm pretty sure Sylus has been entertained much.

In that way, all of you are winners too!

Lastly thank you all for your encouragement for our first escape room experience. We are continually trying out new ways to deliver the LDS experience to our dear hunters. And thank you too for everyone who contributed to making this event a huge success!
