πŸŽ₯ At the Blue Water Heroes Awards Dinner 2024, we celebrated 10 passionate eco-warriors from across Southeast Asia and the positive impact their work has on the local marine environment. Here's what took place from that special night when we thanked them for their invaluable contributions!

Heartiest congratulations to Rose of Coral Catch, Leon of Livingseas Foundation and Lee Kiang of Young Nautilus again! πŸ’™

Stay tuned for more video highlights from the 2024 event! 🌊

πŸŽ₯ Watch the video for a look back at the 2-day Blue Eco Summit 2024, where Dr. Sylvia A. Earle and many more experts shared their experience on topics like deep sea exploration, carbon credits, coral restoration, local community-driven initiatives and more. We hope everyone took away valuable insights from the summit and continue the fight for ocean conservation 🌍

A month ago, Leon Boey, first runner-up of the Blue Water Heroes 2024, installed a new section of coral reef at Padang Bai. Using sand-coated structures called superstars, Leon and his Livingseas Foundation team planted 50m2 of new reefs, in honour of a shared vision for healthier oceans πŸͺΈ

Today, these coral stars are providing valuable support for marine life in the area, with vibrant fish gathering around them!

πŸŽ₯ Watch the video to see the 1-month progress of these superstars! A big thank you to Leon, his team, and everyone involved for your hard work towards restoring our oceans 🌊⭐

Here's another look back at our intertidal tour at Changi Beach on 20 October! 🌊

Check out the fascinating sea creatures we spotted, like spikey sea urchins and the aptly named Garlic Bread sea cucumber because of its resemblence to the dish.

What other creatures can you recognise and name? Let us know in the comments! πŸšπŸ”

Thanks again to those who joined us and to S.E.A. Aquarium for hosting this! 🌟
