We completed another edition of the No Trace Challenge to end the year.

The No Trace Challenge is a unique activity that aims to educate participants in the Leave No Trace principles. The kids had a hands on experience about keeping the environment safe and clean while building on their outdoor skills.

During November, Team ADVENT facilitated a 3 days 2 nights Annual Training Camp for a Martial Arts (Taekwondo) school.
Besides the Taekwondo training, students also participated in some team building activities. They also had a chance to visit the Hay Dairies Goat farm and participated in an educational tour.
To close off the camp, students were joined by their parents for a BBQ dinner on the last night.

The YOUNG ADVENT-URER programme aims to teach basic survival skills for kids to handle themselves in the outdoors and grow up with a respectful relationship with nature.

“A pleasant surprise for me. Wasn’t expecting my son to enjoy the outdoors. This is an impactful event for my son. He went home and readily shares his experience and lessons learnt with his mum n sis. I can tell he truly enjoy his time with the wonderful guys from ADVENT.
