It was such a joy planning Julius & Niki’s wedding. Beyond the venue styling, our role comprised of audiovisual support, itinerary planning, liaising with vendors from the hotel, pastors, entertainment, photo and video teams to makeup artists, as well as arranging vendor meals and everything in between.
With many of their guests flying in from overseas, we also coordinated inter-hotel shuttle transfers to ensure everyone arrived smoothly.
Amid the hectic pace behind the scenes, what stayed with us most was the couple’s kindness. We told them that we don’t take lunch during service and would just arrange meals for the other vendors, but Julius insisted on including our team and even chose Halal catering so that we could enjoy a proper meal break.
What struck us the most happened in the middle of the celebration. Niki came over and asked, “How are you? Are you having fun?” It wasn’t about the timeline or the event - she trusted that our team had everything under control. It was simply a genuine check-in and this gesture still touches me today.
Niki, a fashion designer, also designed a dress for our emcee - just one of the many thoughtful gestures that reflected her generous spirit.
Beyond a professional client-vendor relationship, we’re grateful to have built genuine friendships and meaningful connections.
