A look back at our recent Made for Love – Wedding Showcase! ✨

By popular demand, we expanded the event into a two-part series, with the final edition taking place at HomeTeamNS Khatib. A huge thank you to all the wonderful couples who joined us and made the showcase such a memorable one. 🥳

A bold celebration of love and culture, this stage styling evoked passion and devotion. Layered ivory and red structures created depth and dimension, while a fabric-wrapped feature panel served as the focal point of the design.

Teased champagne-toned drapery on either side introduced movement, texture and visual interest. Red, ivory, and peach-toned florals added drama, while warm lighting effects illuminated this scene. 🥀

This venue’s pillarless event hall, complete with soaring glass panels overlooking lush greenery, makes the space incredibly versatile for couples exploring different aesthetics and themes. In many ways, every concept finds harmony when paired with nature. 🍃

| Venue Spotlight : Changi Cove Hotel 🍃

One of the very first hotel properties our team partnered with nearly a decade ago was - where we introduced a comprehensive wedding package comprising venue usage, event coordination, catering options, and bespoke décor.

Built in 2012 around signature heritage trees, this modern retreat is nestled within four hectares of lush greenery, offering a tranquil escape unlike most city venues. Teeming with wildlife, the property is filled with birdsong and the gentle rustling of leaves from the majestic 150-year-old Common Pulai tree.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of styling over 100 weddings here. 🫢 In the next post, let’s explore how different themes come to life at this stunning venue.

Monochrome is trending lately – unlike years back, it isn’t just confined to black and white now. Monochrome is all about the layering of a single colour palette, creating depth through texture, tone and form. For this setting, we embraced shades of green, allowing the styling to blend seamlessly with the venue’s natural surroundings. 🍃

Set against the lush greenery of Changi Cove Hotel, architectural structures in limewash green and cascading foliage framed the space with an immersive garden-like atmosphere. Soft florals and organic textures added dimension without taking away from the calm, tonal palette - proving that monochrome can feel both contemporary and alive.

One of the standout features of is its pillarless hall, complete with soaring 9-metre floor-to-ceiling glass panels overlooking verdant landscapes. The natural backdrop becomes part of the design itself, making the venue incredibly versatile for couples exploring different wedding aesthetics and theme!

A few weeks ago, we had the honour of celebrating Hakim & Yasmin’s wedding at The Westin - a full circle moment for our team, having previously orchestrated Hakim’s elder brother’s wedding.

Working on weddings within the same family actually happens quite often for us - whether siblings or cousins - and it’s something we never take for granted. Every time a family returns to us for an event, it is not just “another event” - it feels deeply personal.

It’s not that we get it right all the time, but I think it’s the sincerity and care my team puts into every celebration, and how our clients feel supported throughout the process, that truly matters. Each time, we challenge ourselves to do even better than before. We understand these milestones don’t come easy, and we want our couples to feel celebrated every step of the way.

For Hakim & Yasmin’s wedding, we explored a few venue options together before deciding on this one. There were so many heartfelt moments throughout the wedding, but one we especially loved was how the couple prepared a cake for every table (that’s 26 cakes in total!) so their guests could join them during the cake-cutting moment. Such a thoughtful gesture that reflected their warmth and generosity so beautifully.

A modern nod to heritage with a moody, romantic charm, the décor concept was inspired by timeless cultural elements styled with a contemporary touch. We especially loved how the vibrant orange accents contrasted against the lilac tones in the florals, creating focal points and adding depth to the overall composition. (:
