🌸 今天，一人花店 Kelly 教你怎么挑花材！

买花不是只看「花开得漂不漂亮」👀
其实真正会挑花的人，会看这几个地方：

① 看花苞
不要全部都已经盛开，最好是「有开、有苞」的状态，这样回家后还能慢慢欣赏花朵绽放。

② 看花瓣
花瓣要有精神、没有明显的碰伤、褐斑或软烂。

③ 看茎
茎要挺、有水分，不要软趴趴或已经变色。

④ 看叶子
叶片翠绿、有精神，通常代表花材状态比较好。

⑤ 最重要：看你要用来做什么
送人、插瓶、花束、桌花，适合的花材都不一样！
不是「越贵越好」，而是要挑对。

🌷 所以买花不要只看颜色～
花材的新鲜度、开放程度、整体状态，才是真正影响作品质感的关键。

Buying flowers isn’t just about choosing the ones that look pretty. 👀
If you really know how to pick flowers, here are a few things to look out for:

① Check the buds
Don’t choose flowers that are all fully bloomed. Ideally, you want a mix of open flowers and buds, so you can enjoy watching them bloom beautifully at home.

② Check the petals
The petals should look fresh and healthy, without obvious bruises, brown spots, or soft, damaged areas.

③ Check the stems
The stems should be firm and hydrated. Avoid stems that are limp, soft, or already discolored.

④ Check the leaves
Fresh, green, and healthy-looking leaves are usually a good sign that the flowers are in good condition.

⑤ Most importantly: think about what you’re using them for
Flowers for gifting, a vase arrangement, a bouquet, or a table arrangement all require different types of flowers!

It’s not always about choosing the most expensive flowers — it’s about choosing the right flowers for the job.

Why doesn’t Rubyflorist have a price list? 🌹

很多客人都会问我：

「可以给我一份价目表吗？」

其实不是我们不能做，
而是 Rubyflorist 有成千上万种花艺作品，
而且很多作品都是客制化的。

每一个产品，
从花材、材料、包装，
甚至一些新加坡没有的材料，
都可能需要特别从国外订购。

材料收到之后，
我们也会一一检查，
确认花材和材料的状况是否可以使用。

如果不适合，
还要重新找替代方案。

而且每一位客人的需求都不一样，
最后做出来的作品，
也不一定会跟参考图片完全一模一样。

所以我们会根据：

🌹 材料成本
🌹 制作难度
🌹 工艺复杂程度
🌹 制作时间
🌹 客制化需求

来安排每一个作品的价格。

所以如果你想订购 Rubyflorist 的花束或礼物，

“Can I have a price list?”

It’s not that we can’t provide one.
The reason is that Rubyflorist offers so many customised floral arrangements.

From flowers, materials and packaging,
to certain materials that are not available in Singapore,
some items may need to be specially ordered from overseas.

Once the materials arrive,
we carefully check everything to make sure they are suitable for use.

If something isn’t right,
we may need to find an alternative.

And because every customer has different needs,
the final design may not always look exactly like the reference photo.

So our prices are based on:

🌹 Level of difficulty
🌹 Production time
🌹 Customisation requirements

先去花市买一束白白美美的满天星🤍
准备好专门喷花材的喷漆🎨

把花花分成几份，然后开始喷喷喷！

如果懒得自己喷，也可以直接买批发店已经染好的花材，价格会稍微贵一点，但一样超美💕
