Hey beautiful community of Medveten Kultur and Gathering the Tribe. Since 2019 we hosted so many amazing events together. Building an experience together that has given memories, community, friendship, lovers and perhaps even children. It has been an amazing journey growing from an idea to a organization and multiple events hosting about a 1000 people over the years. The Medveten kultur project has been an amazing journey in learning, growing, hard work and rewards.
Many people have been part in the creation of the organization and all the work behind the scenes to make our events happen. There are so many we wish to thank from the deepest of our hearts for this journey, everyone on the board and everyone participating in the events and helping out so much!! Linus, Louis and Daniel have been here from start to now. However times are changing and new dreams have being born. Louis who moved down to Portugal and is running a year around project. However running it in the form of Medveten Kultur has its beauty but also struggle. Involving enough people to make the organization run efficiently and sustainable is a huge project. Which has taken hundreds of hours of work. Sometimes very rewarding work and something just pure struggle. So after seven years life cycle of Medveten Kultur. It’s time to move on and give birth to something new. More sustainable and with new fresh energy. So here it comes. We are rebirthing a new event at House of the rising Mojo outside Lissabon in Portugal. This august we run the first event and have already a great deal of connection with amazing musicians, local space holders and an international audience.
THE FESTIVAL
SAFNA: menas “to gather”, in old Nordic language. Will be a festival with many similarities to Gathering the Tribe, but even more focus on Music. And we are so happy to host this at the amazing space of House of the Rising Mojo and Portugal, a shining beacon of community and human connection! So we dream to see you down there and bless this transition into new dreams.
