1997 was a hell of a strong year when it comes to dance music (Daft Punk!!), well in fact - the whole 90’s where packed with releases that became classics.

Cari Lekebusch remix of Koops Glömd is still one of my favorites of all times. Somehow he manages to turn soft electronic folk music track into a techno groover.

Tippers SixPak on the other hand (or table) is a totally different beast that focuses on raw power breaks rather than groove.

Both essential records that shaped my musical taste over the years 😎

Mission: find me another record that puts funk, gospel and outer space in the same room as this 🚀🛸

George Clinton, P-Funk and a groove so timeless it found its way into hip-hop history and into our hearts forever..

Who remembers when house music had a hip-hop attitude? 🏠🎤

Hip house — raw beats, funky grooves, rap vocals and that unmistakable late ’80s / early ’90s energy. My favorite four records, one seriously good vibe. 🔥

All hip house heads - ya feelin’ it?! 🤘🔊

Whoop whoop! What a release party with Badmor! 🎸💥

The afterparty turned into an intimate little affair with a small but truly devoted and lovely crowd. ❤️🪩

Had an absolute blast playing this weekend at the ÅTTA GLAS X BUSTAD Première de Luxe! 👌🪩

😎 Wally Badarou - Cheif Inspector (1985)

I have no idea if the multi instrumental Wally ever thought of Peter Sellers, Inspector Clouseau when he wrote this groove masterpiece.. probably not. But I can’t think of a better track that reflects the vibe of this lovely character 😄

And yes, the real Cheif Inspector in those movies was of course Dreyfus - the boss of Clouseau 🤓

A tune made for undercover detective stakeouts in Gstaad 🕵️‍♂️🏔️
