Take a deep breath… 🌊

Every time I hear this track, I’m reminded of Le Grand Bleu. Maybe it’s those beautiful bell presets in the beginning — the same kind of sound you hear in the main theme, and on Sunrise Stockholm. But more than anything, this track feels like taking one long, slow dive into the ocean.

Stella Polaris seems to have released one more record before disappearing. Released on the private Bäck Records label, whose catalogue is mostly made up of humorous songs and cover versions.

So whether you’re heading out to sea or simply having a very relaxed Sunday — this one sets the mood perfectly. 🐚☀️

Both the artist selection and the artwork seemed to follow the same formula, with tracks like Beat Dis, No Way Back, Love Can’t Turn Around and This Brutal House showing up again and again. The latter was definitely a signature track — judging by these album covers, at least! 😄

How many Nitro DeLuxe appearances can you spot?!

Looking back, these records meant the world to me. They were my gateway to all those non-Swedish radio tracks I simply couldn’t hear anywhere else. 📻❤️

Magnus Uggla - Sommartid

Released in 1976 this song is the definition of Swedish summer. Another version was also released 1981 with a much darker and electronic sound, also good but not close imo to the original organic floaty sound. 👌⛱️

Oh and It has probably never been played at - but definitely should 🤩☝️
