”Techno is a serious style of music, with a serious message. With it comes an attitude of respect and it grows within the wings of the rhythm. Everyone has equal value under the flag of techno culture. It offers an alternative cultural resort for current and future generations.“ – Raveman
Raveman promotes the scene and highlights harmony, community and atmosphere through music. Over two decades of techno, he has created a repertoire that few artists in Stockholm possess.
MAIN BIOGRAPHY:
Raveman played records since he was young, just not that often that he wanted because he didn't have his own record players/equiment early dates So he was at 'leisure centres' almost every day. The earliest music i got was the records (mostly vinyl) what was available. He wasn't that deeply rooted in the record hunt, but that also came with time. When you because of the revolution of internet could start ordering music online, it was one of the coolest things that could happen when you got an order with selected vinyl records from ex England or Germany, It gave me goosebumps. I saved up for my first equipment and bought it in cash, and I was a bit blown away. But, that's part of it. when he was around 22 (2002) he didn't do anything else, he was just trying to make it within the art of Dj-ing.
Today Raveman is a local character that is represent techno lifestyle. He wrote 10 rules or steps/list for beginners or everyone that wants to arrange a rave at a venue or open air. That list is the work process to be released/published for everyone in the world wide on web to take part of, in near future. .
>>Jones Gerdin, known as Raveman in the underground electronic music scene. The lifestyle around the Underworld has been heavily thrown in, but Raveman' experience shows on another side of the dark culture.
»People ask me what my dream is, and I say I'm doing what I've always dreamed of. I'm doing what I love and that's why I'm doing it. I get so much out of being a part of this scene and this change. The younger generation is very important to me. The realization that the younger generation looks up to you and respects you as a role model makes it even more important to behave properly.«
Raveman represents that freedom in our moment.
Under the name of Raveman he plays techno of the harsher kind.

Excerpt from interview / repotage about Jones Gerdin aka Raveman as one of Stockholm / Sweden's Underground Techno Djs made Early2019 published by the cult magazine - Profetmusik.
Jones Gerdin, known as Raveman in the underground electronic music scene. The lifestyle around the Underworld has been heavily thrown in, but Jones' experience shows on another side of the dark culture.
"I would like to create a future classic," Raveman tells me over a solid marble table, interesting as he thinks he wants to get a "one hit-wonder" in a genre he's not usually active in. You see, dear readers, Raveman is the everyday record jockey in the underground, electronic music scene in Stockholm. Saying "to everyday" is in itself a relatively incorrect term when I think about it, because Stockholm's underground offers nothing but what the tacos-on-Friday friend sees as an everyday situation. The underworld lights up when it is dark, awake when the rest of the world sleeps and gives meaning to those who do not find it in conventional environments. Nothing ordinary in other words.
Everyday life, at least personally, is something I strive to strive for as a pop journalist. The whole purpose of my existence is to avoid penetrating boredom. Hence, I look curiously away at what is usually called the rave scene, like a shy onlooker who hungrily hungrily glances over the bare liberty of chopping tartar-damaged streets. Raveman represents that freedom in our meeting moment.
Under the name of Raveman he plays techno of the harsher kind and when he plays the snap calmer music (obviously not Calm Favorites-quiet like that) he calls himself DJ Naken. Both of his aliases are relatively hard to find information about, and that's the charm of it all. The doors of the underworld are not visible to everyone's eyes and an insight implies withdrawal. Exclusivity and mystery must attract more stakeholders than a pitiful pop journalist like me, even though the Underworld is also resting on othe091 foundations.
"There is not much that is in the sunshine of what I do today"
- Jones G
"I started going in to produce music pretty early, when I was 20," he says
"And how old are you now?" I interrupt curtly.
"I'm ….
