For more than a decade, Foo Café has been an open meeting place for tech in Skåne.

We have hosted thousands of events – for developers, children learning to code, teachers, AI enthusiasts, senior programmers, and curious beginners. All free. All open. All driven by a simple idea: that knowledge should be shared.

We are now facing a generational transition.
Micke, who has run Foo Café for many years, is retiring. At the same time, our funding conditions are changing. That’s why we are now looking for the right long-term solution for the next phase in Foo Café’s story.
We are seeking a new principal organization or partner to carry the initiative forward – in the same spirit or in a further developed form.

This could be a company, an organization, a foundation, or another actor that sees the value of an established tech community with more than 9,000 people in its network and a well-proven event model.

Do you know someone who would be a good fit to take this forward?

We have prepared a short summary of the organization and the opportunities ahead that you are very welcome to share. Get in touch and we will send it to you and if you would like to know more.

Foo Café has always been built on the community.

Perhaps it is the community that will help us find the next chapter. 💚

This workshop is designed to help you think more clearly and make better decisions by using mental models.
Mental models are simple frameworks that explain how the world works.
They help you cut through noise, reduce complexity, and avoid common thinking mistakes. Most people rely on intuition or habits when making decisions, without realizing how often biases and blind spots affect their judgment. This session gives you practical tools to reason more clearly, especially in complex or uncertain situations.

Deep research agents, like OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude’s deep researchers, are extremely powerful to gather information, surf the web, and compile reports.

It has become a daily habit of mine to spin up multiple deep researchers to help gather knowledge and insights, but how do they work under the hood?

In this talk, we will go through how DR agents evolved, from chain-of-thoughts, STORM, and finally explore the more modern approaches to let AI explore A LOT of information accurately.

We will even try to build some of them together!
