Yesterday, while I was standing and talking to the guests during dinner, we suddenly heard movement in the field, and a moose slowly walked past. She kept looking up toward the road, then went back to fetch her two calves. It was an absolutely amazing experience, she was so close to us and so calm. I can assure you that my guests were happy!😍😍😍

Those of you who have visited Lilla Lyngabo have likely been served meat from my sister’s farm, Linnebergsgård, where the animals roam huge pastures along the beautiful river Fyllan. In the river, there is a spot we call "The Deep Hole" an area where we don't know exactly how deep the water is, we only know that it is very deep. Swimming here is an absolute highlight of the summer, the location is stunningly beautiful and offers a truly tropical feel. I just love this!😍😍😍

Gazpacho made from sweet small tomatoes from Ugglarps Grönt, is there anything more summery or delicious?! Salty crisps made with pepper salami from Susegård Gårdsförsäljning, where the pigs live outdoors and root around in the soil, are the perfect accompaniment. Add some seed crackers with cream cheese flavored with lovage from Lilla Lyngabo’s garden, and life is perfect. 🌸🌸🌸

Midsummer in Lilla Lyngabo, nestled in late blooming rapeseed fields, it couldn't be more Swedish summer than this. The rapeseed will be in bloom for several more weeks, so take the opportunity to book an overnight stay and dinner in the middle of a rapeseed field.
