Docked at St Katharine’s and looking frightfully composed, but did you know this swish marina once stored ivory, rum and spices from across the Empire? ⚓️ Back in 1828 it was built to tackle the rampant river thievery along the Thames — no more cheeky pilfering on the docks! These days it’s yachts and rosé instead of rum runners, but the salty tales still linger if you listen closely… nudge nudge. 🤫😉🚲🌊

Spotted: our tweed-clad troupe rolling up to the rather splendid Lambeth Palace—home of the Archbishop of Canterbury for over 800 years. 🚲🇬🇧 Not just a pretty red-brick façade, this Tudor treasure houses one of the largest religious libraries in Europe… talk about a holy grail for bookworms! 📚✨

And here’s a corker: parts of the palace survived the Blitz during WWII, patched up and standing proud like a proper Londoner.
