The old Bougainville hotel is no more.
In Bougainville’s embrace, where trade winds sigh,
Stood a cherished inn beneath the azure sky.
Its walls, once vibrant with tales of yore,
Now echoes fade, as they whisper no more.

Through verdant palms and fragrant blooms,
Guests found solace within its rooms.
Laughter mingled with the ocean’s song,
Creating memories that would linger long.

But time, relentless, marched ahead,
And now the Bougainville Hotel is dead.
Demolished bricks and scattered beams,
A testament to vanished dreams.

Yet in our hearts, its spirit stays,
A beacon from our golden days.
Though structures fall, and eras end,
The hotel’s legacy will transcend.

For treasures true aren’t stone or wood,
But moments shared and understood.
Farewell, dear inn, your soul shall dwell,
In stories that we’ll always tell.
