Alone in the depths of the earth, little Rayan not only drew compassion from around the world, but he showed that his own country is capable of doing the impossible for one of its own. Here is a press review of certain daily newspapers which returned to the tragic disappearance of the little child.
Unfortunately little Rayan, barely five years old, did not survive after five days at the bottom of a well, at a depth of 32 meters. But this tragedy has shown that Moroccans are capable of moving a whole mountain to try to save one of their own, writes the daily Al Akhbar in its edition of Monday, February 7.
