Our handmade Phantom Hunter's hat inspired by Keos Masons artwork. Made of leather!

We wanted to share this Bloodborne-inspired look that my wife and I shot just yesterday. The outfit was inspired by a crossover concept by Marco Plouffe. We absolutely fell in love with his hat design, it feels 100% like it belongs in the Bloodborne universe.

We’ve always loved working on the weathered, battle-damaged look of Hunters' hats, and this time we went all out. The edges are even more tattered than Djura’s, with plenty of small scuffs, nicks, and imperfections right on the crown.

Designing the central badge was another fun challenge. We wanted to skip custom metal casting this time, so we chose embossing on veg tanned leather and painted it to look like aged metal.

Did we nail the Bloodborne atmosphere?

This Ithilien Ranger cloak has been in the works for quite a while. The custom hardware (exact replicas of the Gondorian buckles) had been sitting in our workshop since our previous projects, but we only managed to find the right fabric this spring.
Now the piece is finished. We used a heavy cotton twill in a complex, canon gray-green shade. Thanks to the weight of the fabric, the cloak drapes well and maintains a solid silhouette in motion. We designed it as a versatile base for a woodland ranger outfit, suitable for LARP, festivals, or cosplay. In this particular model, we decided not to cut the slit for the quiver straps, but we can easily add it for either hand upon request.
For sizes, custom adjustments, or ordering details, please send us a direct message.
Back length: 135 cm. A basic water-repellent coating is included, and a waxed finish upgrade is available upon request.

It’s been a while since we last showed you our Skyrim cape!
First, it was way too hot to work with the resist line. At 30°C+, the compound would dry out too fast and unevenly, so we postponed it for cooler days. Then, it got too wet... Whenever possible, we prefer to do hand-dyeing outdoors. Natural daylight makes it much easier to match the perfect shades, and we get to breathe fewer paint fumes.
Nevertheless, we caught the perfect weather windows for both the resist work and the dyeing. Everything turned out exactly as planned!
Right now, the cape is being assembled, and we plan to finish it in the next few days. But this workspace shot turned out so atmospheric that we just had to share it!

Remember the legendary opening cinematic of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? Geralt on Roach, wrapped in a massive, rugged black hooded cloak. It looked incredibly stylish and atmospheric.

Admit it, during your first playthrough, you also secretly hoped to find this accessory in the chests of Velen or from the craftsmen in Novigrad?

The developers from CD Projekt RED actually wanted to add cloaks to the game. However, technical limitations and a finicky engine put an end to that idea. The fabric would get stuck hard in the textures of the swords on Geralt's back, clip into Roach's rump, and turn the combat choreography into a bug show. Only years later were modders able to bring cloaks back into the game, but even there, the cloth physics works with a hitch.

We decided to recreate this look, making it as practical as possible for the real world.
Material: thick, heavy wool. It holds its shape perfectly and creates beautiful folds.
Cut feature: to ensure the cloak doesn't restrict movement, we borrowed the cut with shortened "sleeves" from another, no less famous Strider. Your hands remain free, while your back and shoulders are reliably protected from bad weather.

The photo shows our first, experimental version of the product. We continue to work on the perfect fit, so other modifications will be available upon individual request. For example, classic long cloaks without shortened elements, as well as versions with even more voluminous, deep hoods to create the ultimate stealth look.

It all started with Lambert’s jacket. We fell so hard for its contrast color scheme that even before finishing the costume itself, we just had to craft a matching belt pouch. And well... we simply couldn't stop after that.

To celebrate the 11th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt release, we’ve prepared this illustrated short story for you. Take a step inside the White Orchard workshop with us.

Meanwhile, in the workshop... 🛠
We are currently working on the braided pattern for a Skyrim cape.
The front piece turned out to be the most challenging part due to the curves of the pattern. On top of that, it took quite a bit of effort to design a seamless connector for the bottom design, as we couldn't find it anywhere in the game references.
The back is definitely the easiest part, but the collar will likely be a tough nut to crack.
What do you think of the progress so far?

One of our most exciting projects this May - a leather cape from Skyrim!
While the main part of the mantle was done pretty quickly, the collar was a real challenge. We had to make sure it "stands" exactly like the original in-game reference. You can see the difference on the mannequin: the left side shows our previous version, and the right is the final, corrected one.
This cape has several variations in the game. Ours will feature a braided pattern created using a resist dyeing technique. We’re currently in the middle of developing it!
The last photo shows an example of how this technique looks (the final colors will be custom-mixed to match the game model perfectly).

Monster Hunter... ⚔️🐺
Some creations prefer to wait for their story to be told. We finished this pouch back in the dead of winter, but it wasn’t until the April snow that we were able to finally get the perfect shots.

The scene came together through a lucky creative coincidence. Currently, the workshop is busy crafting a "Strider" cloak with a warm wool lining. While assembling this look, we tried using the lining as a cloak, and it fit the role of a witcher's travel cape perfectly.

The Pouch: Inspired by the School of the Cat gear. This time, we moved away from the bright ginger tones to a deep chocolate brown matching the pauldrons on Lambert's jacket.

Dimensions (20x15x3.5 cm) are perfect for potions, Gwent cards, or your smartphone and passport. It features a soft wool lining and a secure, quick-access hidden magnetic snap.

The Belt: You might recognize it from our "Hunter" look earlier this spring. It turns out it fits the Witcher aesthetic just as naturally. Hand-stitched details mirror the pouch, while brass decorative studs add a sharp accent.
The belt is 138 cm long, adjustable for a waist of 83–102 cm. We can punch additional holes upon request.
The set is in stock and ready to follow its new owner on the Trail. Check out the carousel for all the close-up details!

A question came up under our previous post about how comfortable hats like this actually are to wear. We thought our answer might be helpful, especially for those still unsure about ordering one.

Our classic Bloodborne-inspired hats are designed first and foremost for high-quality cosplay and collecting. They’re fairly lightweight (a little over 300 g), so wearing them during festivals or conventions is quite comfortable.

Because each hat is treated with our custom wax blend, it may feel slightly stiff during the first fitting. We include a small instruction guide for this case: the seam between the crown and brim can be gently warmed with a regular hair dryer to soften it before wearing. Over time, the hat naturally adapts more closely to the shape of your head.

To protect your hair or wig from possible contact with the waxed surface, we offer an optional lining. It’s not required, but it gives the hat an extra touch of character, especially with a red lining.

For everyday city wear, however, comfort requirements are completely different. The seam between the crown and brim should not press against the forehead, so in addition to the lining, we add a soft leather sweatband inside the hat. We always recommend this option for hats intended for regular wear...and the hat in these photos has exactly that configuration.

If you have any questions about our hats, we’ll be happy to answer them :)

Custom Hunter Leather Hat

Only the brim shape remains from the original v.2 design. The crown was completely reworked into a sharper, more predatory silhouette, while bright azure accents and torn raw edges transform the piece into wearable art.

As always, the dyeing was done entirely by hand, but this time with a complex black-to-deep-blue gradient finish.

Despite its dramatic look, the hat was designed for the city, featuring a soft lining and a leather sweatband for a comfortable fit.
