database is an underground electronic music party brand based in Timișoara, Romania which opened its gates as a proper club for the very first time on the 15th of October 2016. It was situated in an industrial lot of the city, placed in an old building which also used to host several parties in the past, the club began with a fresh approach, unlike everything the crowd of Timișoara was used to unt

il then. The minimal soft-black decor, the LED lighting setup and the powerful VOID Acoustics sound system made an instant impression since the moment anyone stepped in. After 4 full seasons of tremendous parties having special guests amazing artists like Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, Apollonia, Deborah de Luca, Nic Fanciulli, David August, just to name a few, the clubbing era came to an end, but not the brand itself. The beginning of the pandemic was a massive hit for the entire entertainment industry and the fact that we were affected as well came as no surprise of course, but it was also a chance to reinvent ourselves and begin a journey which can allow us to change the spot, the sub-genre of the night, to be able to give to our crowd a better and a different experience they can enjoy more and more every time they come to us. During the 2020 summer we held six outdoors events in 3 different locations and they seem like the best ones we ever did because they seem impossible to host and difficult to control, but somehow we made it. Plans for 2021 are bigger that like never before, and depending on how the pandemic will evolve , we will try to make it work in the best way possible to have fun and protect our public at the same time! COMUNICAT DE PRESĂ

Așa cm am promis, revenim astăzi cu un comunicat oficial.
În primul rând, vă mulțumim pentru susținerea din ultimele săptămâni. Știm că amânările și schimbările recente v-au afectat, iar pentru asta ne cerem scuze. Ce s-a întâmplat în ultimele două luni este, fără exagerare, cea mai dificilă perioadă din cei 9 ani de activitate.

Situația locației

După cm mulți dintre voi știți, locația în care am funcționat în ultimele luni a fost închisă. Proprietarul clădirii a decis rezilierea contractului în mod neașteptat, la scurt timp după ce, de comun acord, am investit în lucrări suplimentare de izolare acustică pentru a nu afecta activitatea hotelului din vecinătate, aflat tot în proprietatea acestuia.
Cu doar câteva zile înainte de evenimentul cu NUSHA, ne-am trezit cu contractul reziliat și alimentarea cu energie oprită, lucru care a făcut imposibilă desfășurarea activității în spațiul respectiv.
Nu dorim să arătăm cu degetul către nimeni. Ne asumăm responsabilitatea și pierderile generate de această situație neprevăzută.

Evenimentele viitoare

Mahony: evenimentul va avea loc pe 19 decembrie, la CRAFT – Sala Europa. KIDOO & Dumitrescu: din păcate, nu am găsit nicio locație disponibilă pentru data stabilită, motiv pentru care evenimentul va fi reprogramat în 2026.

Despre refunduri

Toate refundurile de pe platforma Livetickets pentru evenimentele NUSHA și KIDOO & Dumitrescu au fost procesate în cursul zilei de ieri. Astăzi vor fi procesate și cele efectuate prin iabilet.
Dorim, totuși, să menționăm un aspect: au existat persoane care au solicitat refund chiar dacă au participat la eveniment, după ce am anunțat că accesul se poate face și pe biletul unui prieten. Alegem să nu judecăm pe nimeni. Important este că atmosfera a fost magică și că v-ați simțit bine, asta ne bucură cel mai mult.

Pasul următor: un nou spațiu

Veștile bune? Da, există! Am vizionat mai multe locații în Timișoara în ultimele zile și suntem aproape convinși că una dintre ele va deveni noua casă DATABASE.
Drumul nostru nu se oprește aici. Dimpotrivă: această situație ne ambiționează și mai mult să susținem scena de muzică electronică din Timișoara și să construim un spațiu durabil, sigur și pregătit pentru viitor.
Vreți să aflați unde va fi noul nostru loc? Rămâneți aproape. Urmează noutăți mari.

Evenimentul cu NUSHA, programat inițial pentru 29 noiembrie, a fost reprogramat pentru 5 decembrie, la Iulius Congress Hall, în intervalul 23:00 – 06:00.

Toți participanții care aveau bilete achiziționate au fost notificați prin e-mail cu privire la această modificare. Dacă cineva dorește refund, vă rugăm să urmați instrucțiunile menționate în e-mailul primit.

Pentru a ne revanșa față de voi, fiecare persoană care a cumpărat un bilet înainte de 29 noiembrie poate veni însoțită de încă o persoană, folosind același bilet.

Situated in an industrial lot of the city, placed in an old building which used to host several parties in the past, the club began with a fresh approach, unlike everything the crowd of Timișoara was used to until then. It holds two areas, the main room for regular access and a large VIP spot. The minimal soft-black decor, the LED lighting setup and the powerful Funktion One sound system make an instant impression since the moment you step in. In the first season of activity, database welcomed important artists such as Audiofly, Carlo Lio, David August, James Zabiela, Jay Lumen, Joey Daniel, La Fleur, Matthias Tanzmann, Nic Fanciulli, Prâslesh, Petre Inspirescu, Technasia, Traumer, Tube & Berger and the list goes on. It also supports local artists having a great potential, keen on learning and put a lot of work in order to reach their purposes, as initially desired, with the likes of Atapy, JUST2, Luca M, Olivian Nour, just to name a few. Season two came as fast as the wind with significant improvements of image and sound, ready to include new names in its “database”. The musical approaches for this one had some comebacks from the first chapter but also some new ones, such as Seth Troxler, LOCO DICE, Deborah De Luca, Mind Against, OXIA, LEON, Paul Ritch, Metodi Hristov, etc. The club’s popularity has reached now some other borders, attracting guests from many big cities of Europe nearby West Romania. The location is scheduled to start its third chapter on the 19th of October, having the masterminds Mind Against as opening guests two years in a row. Artists expected to play in the near future are Petre Inspirescu, Apollonia, Luca Agnelli and some new big names soon to be revealed. Preparations for this one are ongoing and are meant to bring a fresh, new look of the dancefloor and aiming to implement several different concepts for its lovely crowd.
