“That will never happen.” 📱

That’s what two doctors whispered behind Janusz Cieszyński at a meeting where he, then Poland’s Deputy Minister of Health, was preparing e-prescriptions. A few months later, the idea became reality. 💊 And when the pandemic came, those prescriptions saved lives. When a war broke out at the border, one million refugees received their digital identity in a single month. 🤍 And even when technology failed, people stood by, because they were met with honesty, an apology and a team working day and night. That is how trust is built. 🤝

Janusz leaves us with a bold invitation: if you work in tech, consider the path into government too. 🏛️ There, you can build things that change the lives of millions, and few things compare to the satisfaction of helping your country. You will make mistakes, you will fix them, you will keep going. That is exactly what a pioneer looks like. 🚀💛

What if AI could work while you sleep, and in the morning at least part of the job was already done? 🌙

We use AI every day and wonder whether it’s truly intelligent. Ross McKegney reminded us that emotional intelligence and feelings belong to humans, while AI’s real power lies elsewhere: in the AI loop. 🔁 Like a surfer who reads the wave, decides, acts and tries again, the loop builds, tests, learns from its mistakes and starts over, again and again, until the result is right. 🏄 All it needs are the right tools and clear tests, because we all know AI can get things wrong. And so we move from checking every step to setting the direction and saying, at the end, “now it’s right.” 💛

This loop can work for us in marketing, social media, management, customer support, fraud detection and even healthcare. 🩺 AI becomes a co-worker that gathers information and puts the pieces together, freeing time for what truly matters: people, ideas, decisions. 🤝 What’s left is to choose where we bring it into our lives and where we keep space just for ourselves. Technology brings the wave. The direction is ours. 🧭🌍

Machines will keep getting better at answering. Our gift is to keep getting better at asking. 💡

How many tabs do you have open right now? In your browser, but also in your mind? 🧠

AI keeps our tasks beautifully organized, but our worries, our loved ones and the noise in our heads remain in our care. As Smaranda Heroiu reminded us, each of us runs on a humanOS, the system that decides how we love, lead and choose. 🌍 And its next update is ours to write: choosing with purpose who we are and who we want to become. ✨

What guides those choices? A thread. In Japan, Akai Ito is the invisible red thread that connects people destined to meet. For Smaranda, it ties us to everything meant for us: books, songs, cities, people we love. 🧵 It may stretch or tangle, and yet it holds. Her beautiful lesson: what is meant for us will find its way to us, and we will always return to who we truly are. 💛

In an ever smarter world, our most precious update is still our humanity.

Have you set a secret password with your loved ones yet? 🔐

Every photo, check-in or comment says something about us. 📸 Tegzes Alin showed us that the internet is less like a diary and more like a file, one about us and the people we love, while algorithms sometimes know us better than our own partners. The real question is: who opens this file? 📂👀

Scams have come close to almost all of us. 📲 And deepfakes take it further: from what we post, clones can be built with our voice and face, and the proof that it wasn’t us sometimes comes too late. 😨🎭

The good news? We can protect ourselves. 🛡️ Alin left us simple solutions for ourselves and our families. And safety is something we learn: it starts with a conversation at home and, maybe one day, with digital education in every school. 🏡🎓💛

Share it with the people you love. It might be the most important conversation of your week. 🤍

Read these lines slowly. They might be your first pause today. 🍃

Think of the morning light slipping through the curtains, the first leaves turning gold, the hush of a city just before dawn. 🌄 Life around us breathes in seasons, growing and resting in perfect time, and Cristina-Doria Onofrei invited us to remember that this rhythm lives in us too. Yet today, work follows us everywhere, always just one tap away. 📱

Slowly, the lines blur: between office and home, between screens and the people we love. And with them fade the moments that keep us alive: a glance, an embrace, a quiet hour with ourselves. 🤍 A pause becomes an act of courage: a walk under open sky, an evening when you are, at last, truly home. 🌅

Press play on Cristina’s speech. Then step outside and look up at the sky for a few minutes. Your rhythm is waiting for you there. 💛

Every generation has its own revolution. Ours is being written now. ✨

In just 20 years, the world has changed faster than we ever imagined. Ramona Olteanu, Paula-Ana Romocean and Catalina Schveninger took us through this journey: entrepreneurship has become more accessible, and digitalization is bringing public institutions closer to people. 🌍 Yet the greatest lesson remains a human one: the courage to adapt, reinvent ourselves and start over whenever the world asks us to. 🌱

Today, AI stands beside us everywhere, even in HR, helping us synthesize and work more efficiently. But decisions carry values, intuition and responsibility, and these remain ours. 🤍 Our role is to question, verify and choose wisely, because the future will be defined not by what AI can do, but by how we choose to use it. 🧠💛

This year, we came together around one question: Human: What’s Next? 🌍 In a world of technology and AI, we discovered together that the future feels friendlier when we look at it with curiosity and side by side with others. 🤝 Thank you Delia Virga, HELLA, Mihaela Todea, Gabi Albert, Petrovici Irina, Cornelia Elena Micicoi, Cristina Chioariu, Robert Cernea and Bogdan Indricau for standing by us and believing in this story, and thank you Marin Daniela for the questions that brought their voices closer to us. 💛

Last year, we listened to them on our stage. This year, Claudiu Butacu and Adela Cristea became TED Ambassadors. 🎉 Claudiu is the man who heard “it can’t be done” many times and built a greener future anyway, a future he now passes on to his students and to the generations to come. 🌱 For more than 20 years, Adela has been helping businesses grow, showing us that every problem can be the beginning of something new. 🚀 Thank you for carrying ideas further! ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Smaranda Heroiu, who guided us through the day with warmth and brought every story together. 🎤 And to White Steps Academy and Irksousi Mohamed, for lighting a little spark in each of us through dance: sometimes all it takes is looking up from our phones to truly see the people beside us. 💃💡

Stay tuned: all the speeches from this year’s edition will be available on our YouTube channel soon. 🎥👀

From one person, a whole world. 🌍

It all began with a grandmother who created a space of goodness, without ever knowing it. The little girl felt it, and she grew up to become a mother too. 💛 Lavinia Melania Bratu passes this goodness on, not only to her daughter, but to the whole world. And now it’s our turn to be that space for the people around us. This is how the transformation of a world begins. ✨

On the TEDx Aristide Demetriade stage, she spoke about the living architecture of the human being, so complex that no amount of information can explain it. In a world of technology, speed and AI, more is not always better: a person is transformed through meaning and emotion. We see it in everything we create, in art, in music. When Oros Maria touched our souls on the violin, we felt it. 🎻

And one more lesson from Lavinia’s grandmother: when you can’t find the ground beneath your feet, look to the horizon. 🌅

The question we leave you with:
What kind of space do I become for others, so that we may all be well? 🤍

💫 Some rooms you never fully leave.

There's a particular kind of magic in a room full of people who showed up curious 🌟, and left changed, even a little. Laughter, open faces, old friends and new ones 🤝, all asking the same question: "Human: What's next?" ✨

That's the thing about ideas worth spreading💡: they don't stay on stage, they walk out the door with every person in the room, and keep moving long after the lights go down 🚶‍♀️. These photos are just a small piece of everything September 26th gave us. 🌱

Keep an eye here, because there's more to come: the full recordings are on their way. 🎥📸

"Wow! What was that?!" 🤯

The room absolutely erupted. 🎉 But Șerban Borda, Profu Zăpăcit, gave us more than a spectacular moment: he showed us that everything we learn begins with a moment of wonder. ✨ From it come questions, discovery, science and the courage to think for ourselves. Culture keeps that curiosity alive at any age and passes it on to the next generation. 🌍

In a world where we can explain almost anything, we are still united by laughter and the joy of simple things. 🌈 The future will belong to those who learned to ask questions, not just answer them. 💡

Discover how art, science and culture have transformed the world, and why it's important to keep them alive. 🎨🔬
