Sky table for Google’s Year in Search private dinner.

Once again, we’re being grateful for clients who invest us with trust, thus enabling our creativity and expertise in tailoring memorable happenings as proud additions to our 7 yrs portfolio of event design & production.

The table, as a whole installation, is a bespoke product, created & manufactured for Google.

It continues and empowers our vision towards a responsible (to avoid “sustainable”) event planning approach. We try to reduce as much as possible working with “one-night” perishable and disposable elements that get thrown away at the end of the day. It is a challenging, but extremely creative process, which asserts an even higher level of customisation.

Working with a client open to innovation is crucial. Many thanks to the team for entrusting us with this project. Trust is game changing and it means offering your event designer the absolute freedom to imagine a bespoke event concept that will elevate both our portfolios & the guests’ experience.

The table is an installation built from scratch according to our design. We aimed to recreate & reinterpret in a modern & technology-oriented manner the idea of a candles-only table setting. We imagined a built in wood & dimmable led light table installation, which can be reused & repursposed, thus saving the use of +200 candles per dinner (for this table length, accommodating 30 guests). We used warm light, that does not reduce eye comfort, and 3 different heights, that allow guests to interact over the table.

Last week, we had the joy of working on this long awaited and uplifting private event - the launch of the HUAWEI P50 Series.
Hosted by one of Bucharest's hippest contemporary art galleries, Strata Gallery the event was conceived as an homage to modern design, geometric simplicity, functional elegance, and a sense of multi-purpose. Incorporating the WeDine signature concept elements, such as the show-stopping candle lit table, live cooking process, fine food, discrete entertainment, architectural lighting, and an overall color adapted bespoke experience.

For the food buffet, we worked with Chef Radu CM Ionescu, and his team at KAIAMO. The table scape and the floral arrangements were once again materialised by the team at Floraria Iris.

Many thanks to the teams of McCann PR Romania and Huawei Romania for entrusting us with this special event concept.

We can only hope that this joyful and reassuring gathering of professionals marks the return of life as we know it, socially bubbly, guard lowered, and generally fun...

Long time no post. Long time nothing to communicate, in these strange times, when we’re trying to reconfigure our lives, our businesses, the industries we’re part of, which were brutally and unexpectedly put on hold, the lifestyle we got so used to, the beautiful dinners we hosted, the inspiring encounters, the good food we so often ceased to appreciate, and everything else we took for granted, as if it will always be at our reach, as it was just a matter of being able to pay for it or not. Life will go on, and so will we. In short time, we will come up with ideas for reinventing the way we gather, the way we design events according to new safety measures, the way we can calibrate to a new system, a new approach, a new philosophy. Yes, this matters. Surviving matters. But today it is not about everything that can be and shall be, but about everything that can not be and shall not be. About what can no longer be changed, replaced, given back, about the lives that will not go on. Today it is about a matter that matters most. Today is about BLACK. And by that, we do not refer to a colour, but to EVERYTHING. Today we stand for HUMANITY. Because everything matters, and thus everything becomes black. Black matters. WeBlack 🙏🏼

Private Dinner for Mastercard Romania / a WD bespoke event concept. This is a very good example of what mapping as a source of architecture light can do to and with a space. It transforms it, it offers an extra dimension to the eye, adding a memorable quality to it like nothing else. We have an enormous pleasure of working with mapping each time there’s an opportunity (and a client smart enough to invest in this priceless detail).

This was one of our first major private bespoke event collaborations - a secret press dinner for McDonald’s 🙌🏻 🍔🍟 It also is one of the favourite projects. We are grateful to our clients for the trust they invest us with when offering free way to our creative process.
