When the production team for "More Than a Wedding" contacted us to show them one of the best wedding venues in Romania, Cantacuzino Castle was our play on dramatic scale and impressive views.

And of course they were impressed with its unique presence: imposing stone architecture, sweeping terraces, and a mountain backdrop that feels unreal. No wonder it’s one of our most requested castles for destination weddings in Romania.

The documentary traveled all the way to Asia, showcased a legendary side of Romania to the world, and went on to win an international award.

When a Hong Kong documentary about weddings around the world wanted to feature Romania, we knew a visit to Bran Castle was an absolute must.

"More Than a Wedding" sent their filming crew, and we teamed up with to show them an iconic piece of our culture — and why our international couples fall in love with this legendary setting for their wedding.

Because let’s be honest: no matter how much we talk about its rich history, the fascinating Dracula legend always steals a little bit of the spotlight for our foreign guests. 😄 So we embraced the myth and gave them an unforgettable experience.

The beauty of our Bran Castle travelled all the way to Hong Kong, and the show went on to win an international award. 🏆

We said we’d put Romania on the map.
And somehow, we ended up on an award-winning TV show in Hong Kong. 😄

Being a destination wedding planner in Romania often means that our job goes way beyond planning the wedding itself. Every couple who chooses Romania, and every guest who flies in from abroad, is also experiencing our country through us. And we take that pretty seriously.

Because we want them to fall in love with Romania.

That’s why, over the years, we’ve often found ourselves in the role of ambassadors for our country, proudly sharing its beauty and the incredible talent of its wedding industry.

A while ago, that opportunity took us all the way to Hong Kong.

More Than a Wedding, an award-winning TV show from Hong Kong, sent its filming team to Romania to experience our weddings firsthand. We were excited to open the doors to some of the most beautiful castles in our country and introduce them also to the modern, glamorous and gorgeous side of Romania.

And we chose to showcase the spectacular barn setting from The White Manor with stunning decor by Andreea Milk and Honey and an incredible creative team:

Why am I such a big believer in symbolic ceremonies?

Because whether you're having a religious ceremony or not, a symbolic ceremony creates a space for your unique love story.

It's about sharing your deepest memories, your most treasured feelings, your vulnerabilities, and your hopes for the future with the people who matter most. It's about standing in front of your family and friends and saying, "This is the person I choose, wholeheartedly, every single day."

What I love most is creating a moment that feels completely unique to each couple. Whether it's a gothic wedding, a barefoot ceremony on the beach, a lakeside celebration, or an intimate village wedding, every ceremony has its own atmosphere, personality, and story.

As a wedding celebrant in Romania, I feel incredibly fortunate to work closely with couples to create those tear-dropping and belly-laugh moments—ceremonies that are personal, authentic, and deeply meaningful. 🤍
