North shore Kauai is absolutely stunning and less crowded. Lumahai beach is one of my favorite beaches but after I went there I heard that this beach has so many deaths from drowning. Specifically where I am standing from rouge waves. I’m so glad I knew that afterwards.

Tunnels Beach (Makua) is great for snorkeling and scuba diving. The beach is a crescent shaped bay and surrounded by palms and ironwood trees. Lava tubes form the many underwater caverns that make the reef a magical underwater world to explore and give Tunnels its name.
