Just a little look at the flowers and greenery in our beautiful old gardens 🌿🌸

Let’s be honest: weddings are expensive. 😅
Specially in the current economy, we’re always looking for creative ways to help our couples have a romantic, unique wedding without breaking the bank.

One thing that makes us a little different from other wedding venues? We get crafty. 😂

Paper chandeliers for our wooden-beam dinner room? €15 each.
Azulejos for guest favours, seating charts or table decor? €3–5 each.

We can’t change every price, but we can find clever little solutions that save money without sacrificing the magic.

Because “budget-friendly” doesn’t have to mean boring.
Sometimes it just means a little creativity… and a glue gun. 😂

"Go into the wedding industry," they said. "It’s so beautiful and romantic," they said.

They didn't mention the part where we look like a construction worker who accidentally ended up in a bridal boutique. 🪵🔧
Yes, one part of our job is sipping ch*****ne in a floral arch and gracefully guiding happy couples through the best day of their life.
I love every single part of my job!
We love the magic, but the manual labor is real and not always as shiny, glamorous and easy going as social media wants us to think.
If you need me, I’ll be over here living the "glamorous" life... aka fixing a clogged toilet while wearing safety goggles.

One of the questions we hear a lot from couples planning a wedding:

Is a professional make-up artist really worth it?

Our short answer: YES!
it’s usually about more than make-up. It’s about feeling relaxed, looking like yourself in photos, and not having one more thing to think about on the day. And most of us, even we might be really good with Make-up, know those days, when our routine just doesn't want to work.

We shared our thoughts and experience (including what we’ve seen work best for destination weddings) on the blog.

A beautiful day with amazing people.

Golden hour, good music, beautiful dresses, an amazing sunset and everyone just having the best time.

Honestly, days like this are why we love what we do so much. It’s never just about the photos.
it’s about the whole feeling of it all. And there’s really something special about weddings in Portugal

You can honestly plan every single detail of a wedding.
The moodboard, the flowers, the timeline, the seating, the candles, all of it.

But what really makes a wedding day work is the team behind it. The people who stay calm when the timeline suddenly makes no sense anymore, who know how to fix a dress button in two minutes, move things around without anyone noticing, keep everyone relaxed, and somehow still make the whole day fun.

That’s why working with experienced professionals matters so much. Not because everything always goes perfectly, but because when something doesn’t, you have people around you who know exactly what to do.

This shoot was such a good reminder of that. So many talented people, beautiful energy, lots of laughter, and everyone simply doing what they do best
Thank you 🤍
