An ode to dramatic beauty…
Drawing inspiration from nature’s power and the elegant classical architecture, we crafted an atmosphere where intimacy feels monumental. This editorial explores the sensory and the emotional, with a subtle touch of sensuality.

A palette of white, black, deep green, blood red, burnt rose, and aged gold defines a narrative that is bold, rich, and timeless.

Set against the vineyards of Paço de Calheiros, the tables overlook Ponte de Lima under a dramatic sunset sky glowing with warm, vivid light.
Every element, from hand-painted ceramics to smoked-glass stemware, is an invitation to feel and, the styling is never merely decorative, it is symbolic, intentional, and deeply architectural.

While we love hearing which flowers are meaningful and special to you, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to say: ‘they are not in season, I will do my best to try to get them, but I can’t promise!’

I would say that is the magic of working with living, breathing, natural elements. But what does ‘seasonal’ actually mean to us? In a globalized world, we can find (almost) anything year-round, but nothing beats a Viburnum with its big, full stems in April. Fully opened peonies in May... and so it goes. Besides, it gives us the opportunity to work with locally grown flowers at a better price!

- Viburnum: Starting as light green and maturing into white. Often confused with hydrangeas!
- Lily of the Valley: The most asked for and hardest to find. They are extremely seasonal—if they are your dream, April is your month.
- Butterfly Ranunculus: The one flower I wish I could have every single day, all year round! Light, ethereal, and stunning. One of my favorites!
- Ranunculus: Luckily available year-round, but they never shine quite as bright as they do right now.
- Stock: Incredibly fragrant and versatile, available in the most beautiful colors!

The two of us, a reintroduction. We are Tai and Vinicius, the hand and hearts behind Mande uma Flor, a floral design studio specialized in bespoke wedding and events.

As a child, I spend my days designing tiny bouquets for Barbies and building imagined homes in the treetops with friends, absolutely convinced that anything we envisioned could become real. Today, as a floral designer, my process still begins with that same belief, but it starts with listening. I want to understand how each couple wants their story to be told. Our design is intentional, personal, and guided by the seasons.

Mande uma Flor was born eight years ago and reimagined in 2020, right here in Porto. What began as an online flower shop, evolved into a wedding and events studio, a space where floral design meets storytelling.

Vinicius joined the business to bring structure to my intuition. He is the balance that refines our systems, perfects the logistics, and creates the most impeccable spreadsheets.

Beyond the studio, as a couple, we are foodies who love hosting friends around our table. Luna 🐕‍🦺is our best friend. We have big dreams on traveling the world, discovering new coffee shops along the way. We run, we cherish a quiet routine, and we deeply believe in living a healthy, balanced life.
We also got married recently and on the end, you’ll find a bonus picture where it is simply impossible to hide our happy faces.
