We did something really special for Rosie’s & Gem’s elopement.

The ceremony was divided into 3 parts.

In the first part of the trail, starting from the parking to the first waterfall, I hid a small package full of questions to ask each other about their past; how they felt when they first met, how they witnessed their friendship shifting…

Then, from the first waterfall to the second waterfall, I left them another hidden package with questions about their present; what they love about each other, what they can’t imagine their life without anymore…

And then, Rosie and Gem arrived at the ceremony which was focused on their future together.

The ceremony already started at the parking lot and it brought forward all the incredible things they’ve been sharing together over the years, and honoring every stage of their relationship: friends, fiancées, and wives.

This location was a risky choice and we weren’t sure if it would work out until the last minute.

Why? Because the mountains like to trap clouds and fog, and on most days, all you can see is the color white; up, down, left, right.

But, as we arrived, all clouds flew away, and we got not only the most majestic views of the lake and most of the island, we also received the most stunning sunset. 🥰

Be honest with me! How does the final result look? 🌿

My clients asked for meadow-style florals. They had a tight budget and my florist friend went in a trip, so I decided to go for it because I wanted them to get exactly what they wished for!

Don’t rush the process. Don’t over complicate it. Don’t just plan a big party for others.

Instead, since the day you agree to spend the rest of your lives together, spend it on preparing yourself for a life in marriage, getting to know each other, and learning how to navigate hardship.

There are almost no rites of passage left in the modern world, which is what makes wedding ceremonies so important as a threshold from a life as a singular person into a life as a married couple. 🙏🏼❤️
