If you know me, you know how much I love Christmas.

Even though my main work is weddings and events, Christmas brings me so much joy.

It holds a special place in my heart, and every year, it inspires me to create something new.

This year, instead of designing just one holiday card or a new ornament, I’m bringing you something a little different.

It’s still in the works, but I’m _so_ excited about it.

When I say it’s handmade, it’s really handmade.

And this invitation couldn’t be more handmade.

Every piece is carefully cut, printed, and assembled in our studio, with no rush.

So everything arrives just the way it should be, beautiful, thoughtful, and perfect for you.

The decision to 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a hotly debated topic with no right or wrong answer. Ultimately it is a personal choice made by the bride and groom.

My advice is: Do what works for you. There is no right or wrong answer.

If you choose to have children attend your wedding, I recommend 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆!
You will be happy you did and their parents will thank you.

PRO TIP:
𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 – chicken fingers, pizza, and whatever suits their fancies! Kid’s meals could be less expensive, but they are also fast, fun, will keep them entertained and they will actually eat!

𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 – choose to have a kid's table (this will depend on their ages) or have them sit with their parents, and give them something to do! A goodie bag of coloring books, toy cars, stickers, and maybe a little candy will keep them busy while you get through dinner and speeches. Kids love to make cards and present it to the bride and groom so let them craft it up.

Whether you choose to use the flowers to bulk up your Wedding favors, or even instead of your wedding favors, simply ask the stylist to make mini bunches of the flowers from the ceremony and then hand them out to guests at the reception.

The flowers are one of the most beautiful details of a Wedding day, and one of the best ideas I heard from one couple was that they 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁𝘀 for their guests.

Planning your wedding can be stressful and time-consuming, and it’s for 1 or 2 years, but marriage is for a lifetime, and challenges will take their course slowly.

Knowing this, how will you keep your relationship strong during wedding planning?

One of the biggest mistakes you can make is assuming you’ll just breeze through wedding planning.

Maybe you’ve watched your friends struggle, and you’ve rolled your eyes with a smug half-smile, assuming you and your partner would never be that way.

Instead, accept that it will be tricky. Finding that you don’t agree on everything, feeling the stress—these things don’t make you a bad couple, they’re just side effects of a normal wedding planning process.

Accepting this from the beginning means you won’t be blindsided later.

An afternoon event is shorter ☀️

You’ll find it easier to stick to a tight wedding budget and you can hold a dinner and have tea after the wedding cake.

An afternoon wedding can open up your venue choices. You can hold an elegant affair in the conservatory of a stately home or country house hotel and maybe even have a string quartet playing as people arrive in the mellow afternoon light.

Bear in mind that if you have invited young children, they might become bored, tired, and grumpy in the evening time.
