Baxta is a versatile DJ and music producer hailing from Poland, currently based in the United Kingdom. Known for his dynamic and energetic sets, Baxta possesses an ability to establish a profound connection with the audience through a mix of his cheerful disposition and unique selection of music. In 2006, when it all began, Baxta's talent caught the attention of the renowned Polish club culture magazine Laif, where his work received recognition, notably for his track "Trancephorma – Lost," featured on the Muzyczny Hydepark compilation album. Throughout his career, he has garnered support from industry stalwarts like Tom Novy, Miika Kuisma, Mark Sherry and Dj Preach. His label, Take One Records has showcased tracks and remixes from emerging talents like Milkwish, Dave Schiemann, Man of Bamboo, and Livedub. He shared the stage with renowned artists such as Mr Sam, Corvin Dalek, E-Craig, Tok Tok, Carla Roca, Poziom X, NeeVald, and many others. Among his notable production achievements, Baxta's remix of System F – Dance Valley 2001 gained recognition on the 2010 remix compilation released by Ferry Corsten's Premier label. Additionally, his chill-out remix of Man of Bamboo – Time Traveller featured on the Kontor label compilation "Tom Novy – Chillin’ at Ibiza Hotel Vol. 2." Although the past decade has seen Baxta delving into media creation and venturing into the film industry, his passion for music remains unwavering. Now, equipped with a wealth of experience, Baxta is poised to reignite his musical journey and continue captivating audiences with his vibrant soundscapes.

I'm excited to share the new Progressive 011 episode. It's a collection of tracks I've been listening to over the last month or so. A really nice selection of progressive house, with a bit of organic and melodic stuff mixed in too. It's a collection of tracks I've been listening to over the last month or so - nice selection of progressive house, with a bit of organic and melodic stuff mixed in too. My music is now available on artist co-op SUBVERT. Like many musicians these days, I am trying to stay away from streaming services, as the unfair payment rules (if you get any payments at all) are simply making our lives unliveable. We just want to be able to earn something from the blood, sweat and tears we put into our music. SUBVERT doesn't allow AI-generated music or artwork and they are very aligned with my own views on where music should be heading. My music is still available on streaming platforms, and if this is how you choose to listen to music, I won't preach or judge. It's your choice, of course. But I do encourage everyone to own the music they listen to and not be dependent on big tech companies. You never know when they might change the rules, disappear, or take your music library with them.
