Forte da Cruz wedding. Fresh spring style.

From London to the Portuguese coast, a destination wedding wrapped in soft spring tones and seaside light. A beautiful couple, floral design full of texture and colour, and a wedding dinner setting that turned Forte da Cruz into something truly special. Flowing drapes, romantic blooms and elegant details created a scene that felt effortless and timeless.

Later, we escaped to the sea for portraits with the fort standing quietly in the background. Ocean air, soft evening light and those in between moments that always end up meaning the most.

A beautiful American destination wedding in Sintra, Portugal. A day that perfectly captured why so many couples choose this magical place for their destination wedding in Europe.

The ceremony took place in the historic Chapel ruins at Monserrate Palace, one of the most unique wedding locations in Sintra. Surrounded by nature and history, it created an unforgettable setting for two people traveling from the US to celebrate with family and friends in Portugal.

Afterwards, we explored the gardens around Monserrate for portraits, with the palace as a backdrop, mixing timeless moments with fun group photos and lots of genuine laughter.

Dinner was hosted inside the incredible Music Room of Monserrate Palace, where the grandeur of the space and exquisite design created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and intimate.

And then the celebration moved to the Chalet — where everyone absolutely gave everything on the dance floor. The kind of party no one wants to leave.

One thing destination weddings constantly remind me: choosing the right team matters. Local knowledge makes a difference. Understanding the palace, the gardens, the best light, the flow of the day, and all the small details can completely change the experience. A perfect Château La Gauterie wedding in the heart of Southwest France.
Nestled in the beautiful Dordogne countryside, Château La Gauterie is the dream destination for couples looking for an elegant yet intimate château wedding venue in France.
The day started with a romantic ceremony at the Gatehouse, surrounded by beautiful traditional architecture and the relaxed charm that makes this place so special. Guests then gathered for cocktails on the château terrace, enjoying the stunning countryside views, mingling, and celebrating together.
One of the highlights of the evening was the beautiful champagne tower, where the couple toasted with all their guests during cocktail hour.
As the sun slowly set over the Dordogne, dinner and dancing took place beneath the stunning twin pagoda marquee, the perfect setting to celebrate and enjoy the fresh summer night.

A summer wedding at Quinta do Torneiro that felt like pure joy. An al fresco dinner under the warm Lisbon light, tables styled with incredible care, and a ceremony space transformed by beautiful floral art. Every corner was full of colour, texture and energy. A celebration that flowed naturally from moment to moment, with laughter, music and a vibrant atmosphere that made photographing this day a real pleasure.

I came back to this editorial after listening to The Fate of Ophelia of and feeling that bittersweet ache, where pain and beauty somehow exist in the same breath. Shot in Madrid years ago, this story was inspired by the haunting beauty of Everett Millais’ Ophelia, that suspended moment between softness and strength, surrender and poetry. I wanted to translate that feeling into something living, breathing, delicate.
This work was published in , and even though some of the creatives are no longer active under the same brands, their art still deserves to be seen and remembered.

A timeless — yet effortlessly cool — wedding at Queluz Palace.
Marie and Brian brought a playful twist to a hyper-classical setting, turning regal gardens into their own sun-soaked playground. Powder blue tones, croquet at cocktail hour, antique mirrors reflecting florals and chandeliers like a fashion set rather than a ballroom.
Elegant, but never too polished. Grand, but joyfully irreverent.
