This part of the new workshop will help you better understand what frequencies are hampering your performance. We will analyse why certain songs sound better than others and you will learn how to improve poor transfers.

This schema was part of my old workshop. For the new workshop, I revamped it to an interactive chart.

Check out what frequencies what instruments, recording eras and recording media can product or reproduce.

If you want to know what all of this means, then you can join my event where I will explain all there is to know about frequencies and how they can help you or annoy you ! Click the link below to join !

Here are my last DJ gigs of this year.

Autumn Embrace, Antwerp BE
Mascarada, Szekesveherfar HU
Bahia Blanca, Santander ES
Encuentro Utopia, Durham NC
Ethonathon, Old Windsor UK

I think Mascarada has some places left for leaders and couples and so does Bahia Blanca. Ethonathon is no registration required so you deicdee last minute te come. All of these are events I very much enjoyed myself before so if you're hesitating to come - don't.

I was issued a copyright strike by Zebralution, a German company collecting copyright money for expired records.

A copyright strike for a song that was recorded in 1940 is not correct. In the European union, the copyright protection ends 70 years after the recording. "Under Directive 2006/116/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (and subsequent amendments extending protection to 70 years), the copyright protection for a sound recording expires 70 years after the recording is made or lawfully published. As this phonogram was recorded and published in 1940, all related neighboring rights expired no later than December 31, 2010. The original master recording is firmly in the public domain in the European Union."

But companies like these like to hand out copyright strikes to intimidate you into trying to remove their claims on your video. This video has been seen about 20000 times over the years and they would not have made a huge amount of money on it - but all those small bits still add up. All they have to do is feed the song into Youtube's automated copyright system and bam - you're toast. It then takes weeks to get the claim released and if they're really malicious they will hand a copyright strike. Of course, I fought back and I'm now in my first legal battle with a copyright collection agency.
