BIO
Um pequeno apontamento biográfico:
Em 1996, com 16 anos, Diana Martins inicia a sua formação em Artes Plásticas. Em 2001, montou o seu primeiro atelier de pintura, onde criou obras de pintura a óleo, em acrílico, aguarela e técnica mista, tendo realizado várias exposições individuais e colectivas, bem como outras experiências ligadas à vida artística. Criou também uma linha de peças de cerâmica e objectos de decoração contemporâneos únicos, que incluía uma colecção de almofadas decorativas de alta qualidade. Durante vários anos criou bijutaria e joalharia contemporâneas, tendo realizado também várias exposições, e vendendo em espaços selecionados na cidade de Braga. Durante 5 anos, deu aulas particulares de Pintura e Desenho num Spa situado na zona histórica da Sé - zona romana de Braga, e também no seu estúdio pessoal. A experiência adquirida, durante a década de 2000, no curso de Decoração de Interiores, de Vitrinismo, de Organização de Espaços e Eventos e após a aprendizagem adquirida ao ensinar pintura e desenho a crianças e adultos, foram importantes para reunir técnicas e práticas que ainda hoje aplica no projecto de cerimónias, o qual abraçou definitivamente no ano de 2008/2009. Entre 2001 e 2009, realizou vários projectos de decoração de interiores em alguns espaços públicos e particulares. A 3 de Janeiro de 2013 muda-se para o centro de Lisboa, onde continua a desenvolver o projecto de detalhes para casamento. A combinação de uma estética fresca, minimalista e botânica, na qual são exploradas, de forma muito intuitiva, as texturas, a luz, a forma e as cores naturais, concilia as artes manuais com as influências modernas.

The Sacred Art of Ornaments ✨
I never tire of speaking about the ancient beauty and meaning of adorning the head.

Long before fashion existed, humanity was already creating crowns, headdresses, veils, jewels and ceremonial adornments to mark love, union, transformation, belonging and sacred passage.

Across cultures, these pieces were embroidered, carved, woven, painted and assembled by hand, detail by detail. They carried knowledge, symbolism and cultural memory from one generation to the next.

There is something deeply powerful in that.

The hands of the maker transform something invisible into form: intention, devotion, beauty. Creation becomes almost like a prayer, a quiet expression of the Divine Source moving through the human being.

This is the spirit I carry into every piece I create by hand.

Dear brides,
It’s been a wonderfully busy few weeks here. 🤍

So many new designs and beautiful pieces have been created and sent off to our 2026 and already some of our 2027 brides!

That’s why I haven’t had the chance to share all the beautiful photographs with you yet, but I’ll be doing so little by little, as I catch up.

I’ve also been receiving the loveliest messages from our brides, and I’m heading into September with a very full heart. ✨

There’s still quite a lot of work to be finished and pieces to be sent out over the next few days, but I’ll be back here soon, a little more present and active again. ☺️

And for those of you planning your 2027 wedding, bookings are now open. 🤍

I’ll be taking a limited number of bespoke orders while we prepare the new collection.
