E porque a cultura e a música não são mercadoria, as receitas dos espetáculos revertem a favor da luta contra o racismo em Portugal. Ouvir boa música e suar na pista até o corpo se cansar, encontrar amigues e contribuir para que o mundo possa quiçá ser um lugar um pouco diferente são os objetivos destas noites. FIDJU-FEMA significa filha em crioulo cabo-verdiano, expressão máxima de uma política e
mancipatória do cuidado, nofeminino. Com esse propósito, uma programação mensal vibrante – do hip-hop, ao funaná, do reggae, ao afrohouse – e num dos espaços mais trendy da cidade – a Casa Independente –, FIDJU-FEMA promete arrasar as noites de Lisboa.

Enjoying good music and sweating on the dance floor until your body gets tired, meeting friends and contributing to make the world a little different are the goals of these nights. And because culture and music are not a commodity, the proceeds from the shows go towards the fight against racism in Portugal. FIDJU-FEMA means daughter in Cape Verdean Creole, the maximum expression of an emancipatory policy of care, in feminine sense. For this purpose, a vibrant monthly program – from hip-hop, to funaná, from reggae, to afrohouse – and in one of the trendiest spaces in the city – Casa Independente –, FIDJU-FEMA promises to rock Lisbon nights.
