Ready to take your Salsa dancing to the next level? 🔥

Join us for a special 2-hour workshop with Pedro Fonseca & Tanya Kuzmenko at Freedom Dance Studio!

This workshop is all about improving your footwork technique and discovering how better footwork can transform your dancing — both individually and with a partner.

✨ What will we work on?

🔹 Foot Mobility & Technique – Improve your foot placement, positioning, balance and connection with the floor.

🔹 Shines & Footwork – Develop coordination, speed, precision and confidence in your solo movements.

🔹 Partnerwork – Learn how to apply footwork techniques while dancing with a partner, making your movements smoother, more controlled and natural.

🔹 Musicality & Body Expression – Discover how better footwork helps you interpret the music and express yourself more freely on the dance floor.

💡 Who is it for?

Salsa dancers who want to improve their technique, musicality and confidence in social dancing.

The workshop focuses mainly on Salsa On1 (Linear Salsa) techniques, but the principles are also useful for Cuban Salsa dancers.

Annual Dance Showcase 2026 💃✨

For the first time, Freedom Dance Studio is bringing our students together for a big dance celebration on stage in Ericeira!

Our kids and adult students will take the big stage to share what they’ve been learning, creating and working on at Freedom Dance Studio.

And you’ll get to see the whole world of Freedom on one stage:
🔥 Salsa • Bachata • Forró • Heels • Contemporary • Afro Fusion • Kids Ballet • Kids Contemporary • Hip-Hop — and more!

Our students, teachers and special guests will come together for an evening full of dance, music, energy and emotion. ❤️

And the exciting part starts already in September!

From September, our classes will begin preparing choreographies for Freedom On Stage. So if you or your child would love to perform with us, now is the perfect time to join a class and become part of the show.

And if you simply want to dance and don’t want to perform — absolutely no problem! All classes will continue in their regular format, with technique, choreography and everything we normally do. Taking part in the showcase is completely optional.

But for those who have been dreaming about stepping onto the stage… this is your moment. ✨

Starting this Friday, 10 July, Ricardo Ambrozio Ricardo Ambrózio will be giving weekly Forró classes at Freedom Dance Studio in Ericeira.

Forró is Brazil’s most joyful partner dance — warm, connected, and endlessly fun. Whether you’ve never danced a step or you’re already hooked, these classes are a relaxed, welcoming space to feel the music, move together, and pick up this beautiful Brazilian tradition.
