Forget the traditional bouquet toss.

In Portugal, there’s another way to find out who’s next.

The bride stands blindfolded, with several ribbons tied to her bouquet, each one held by a guest. She chooses a ribbon without knowing who’s holding it, and the groom cuts it.

Then they do it again. And again.
Until there’s only one ribbon left.
Whoever is holding it gets the bouquet - and, according to tradition, might just be the next one to say “I do.”

A little suspense, a lot of laughter, and one of those Portuguese wedding traditions that gets everyone involved.
