Wabi Sabi - Let’s start this year by remembering this ancient Japanese wisdom that has its essence in finding beauty not despite but in imperfection.

What is perfection even? Have you ever found yourself in a place where whatever you create doesn’t seem to be good enough just yet? Sometimes we do this without even knowing what the standards are that we are trying to fulfill.

Let’s take a step back today and look around us. See all the stuff that is imperfect and love it for what it is.
Let’s try to do the same thing as we look at our reflection in the mirror.

May it be full of beautiful imperfections, challenges, laughs as well as cries. Full of deep connections and presence that we share with each other in everything we are in the fullest of our beings.

The winter solstice is just behind us. It’s the darkest day of the year and if we embrace it, we get reminded to cherish that darkness. 🌑
All is sacred and so is the darkness. Within and without. Our fears our doubts, the tired, the lonely the cold, even the disconnection that we sometimes have with each other and with nature. All that is sacred too. Just as the light and the love and the joy. They’re no different. ✨💜

As things slow down for the Holdiay season and we start going more inwards, we’ll take this time to reflect appreciate, and share with you some beautiful pictures of the community and the land at Ritmo that were taken some time ago by the incredibly talented Darya -> .foto.lab 💜

We look at these pictures in awe and with gratitude for the beautiful reminder that the biggest beauty lies in the mundane, in the little every day moments we share in community.

We’re happy to take this intention into the coming weeks, meeting and cherishing each other’s presence in the simple moments, that when we pay attention turn into something magical. ✨💜

✨🌼 MEET THE TEAM 🌼✨

Hannes is our long term volunteer contributing to the community with his carpentry skills to the maintenance & care of the land. After extensively traveling our world, he found in Ritmo a place to unwind, connect & grow and embrace a new phase in his life. One of his passion is acquiring universal wisdom and finding ways of applying it into daily life within.

✨🌼 MEET THE TEAM 🌼✨

Gilles, our most recent team member came to us from Holland, bringing not only a lot of handy skills, which support the maintenance of the land, but also a lot of joyful and fun energy. He never misses the opportunity to crack a joke. (Actually deep down he’s probably a comedian, but he’s not convinced of that fact yet)
He also came to Ritmo, like all of us actually, to heal and transform old things from the often narrow minded European culture. One can feel his determination and drive to do that in his presence and it seems like everyday one is meeting a new version of him. We’re beyond grateful to share this time with him, being part of what is probably going to be a major transformation, and also very curious where his path will take him.

Ambra mainly takes care of booking and communication. Her gentle welcoming energy lets everyone feel at home quickly.
One of Ambra’s deep passions lies in embodiment and White Ta**ra. At Ritmo she offers heartfelt massages as well as a dance practice created by her which is called “Tantric Soul Dance”. It’s a practice to connect with oneself and work with the elemental energies through intuitive movement. She lovingly guides these sessions.
Ambra’s nurturing and caring energy makes her an essential part of the team and brings softness and warmth to the land which is appreciated by everyone who comes here. ✨💜

✨🌼 MEET THE TEAM 🌼✨

Maeva is taking care of hospitality and making sure all of our guests are welcomed and provided everything they need to have an amazing time while staying at Ritmo. ✨

However, this is just a small part of her mission and skills that she brings to the table.
She has an incredibly big heart which one feels immediately when being in her presence. She has great compassion for anyone who comes to her in difficult and challenging times, since she has gone through a great transformation herself - from a place of a lot of darkness, to one of joy, love, connection and compassion. (If ask her personally she might share more about her journey with you.)

She is also becoming more and more skilled in her way of doing energy work. At Ritmo she offers bodywork sessions which go deep and can be transformative for anyone who receives them.

Maeva is one of those people who, no matter how busy she is in her day, will pause and take a moment to be with you, to share a hug and to connect from heart to heart. All of Ritmo is grateful and blessed for having her. ✨💜
